Truly authentic place with very attentive service and primarily homemade or imported specialty food of the highest quality and in plentiful quantities. A must try in Esbjerg, but remember to book a table.

It was a really good experience. The menu was full of only good lunch dishes. If you want a herring meal or a warm dish, there is plenty to choose from. Not only was the food excellent, the service was also top notch. The prices were reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

It was just fantastic. Cafe Danmark is a place for everyone who appreciates tasty food, made with respect for what it represents. Esbjerg is so lucky to have such a fantastic restaurant. Thank you. And thank you for the wonderful food again.

My wife and I ate here and it was absolutely delicious. Very friendly service and a great atmosphere. We can highly recommend it!

Very cozy place. Great waiters - you felt very welcome. The tartlets were good, but could have used a little seasoning. The ground beef and the side dishes were good, but the meat was just on the dry side. The dessert was fantastic.

03/06/2026: Tasty 'Stjerneskud', friendly service.
02/06/2026: A small Danish restaurant with rustic decor and a friendly owner. The food was good, traditional Danish fare, and the daily special is highly recommended. Something a bit unusual for Germans: the service charge of about 10% is added directly to the bill. This is my first time in Denmark, and apparently, this is the custom here, as the owner explained when we asked.
