Good place to eat🍽️ and there is a good atmosphere and it is very cozy there is food at reasonable prices and for every taste Jan is always full and fresh with good humor😊😊

A charming little restaurant with a cozy, old-fashioned living-room atmosphere. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious and typical of Denmark. Try the Ingeborg Platter No. 1!

Simply fantastic!! You feel right at home!! Jan is a wonderful host!! The daily specials are delicious and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair!! The "Sternschnuppe" (a type of dessert) was also great!! We're coming back tomorrow!! That says it all!!

A very good restaurant with very friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent and plentiful. We highly recommend this restaurant; it's well worth eating there (authentic Danish cuisine).

A small Danish restaurant with rustic decor and a friendly owner. The food was good, traditional Danish fare, and the daily special is highly recommended. Something a bit unusual for Germans: the service charge of about 10% is added directly to the bill. This is my first time in Denmark, and apparently, this is the custom here, as the owner explained when we asked.

So rare these days to find such well-prepared and delicious home cooking in the Danish way!! Atmosphere and staff get just as high marks as the food, definitely worth a detour 🙏🏽

06/10/2026: Good fish platter with homemade bread, however, there was just not enough butter on the plate, and I forgot to ask if I could have more.
29/09/2026: I stayed in a holiday apartment two times. I found the accommodation to be spacious, comfortable, charming, and slightly rustic, with a kitchen adequately equipped for cooking simple dishes. Excellent value for the price. The service was warm and friendly. Mandø is a very beautiful and unique place. I went on the seal and oyster tour. It was an amazing experience to see many birds, seals, and collect and eat oysters. We had a plastic bag and brought it home full of oysters. It would be smart to bring a cooler full of ice.

18/09/2026: A wonderful breakfast café... a warm, attentive, and very friendly welcome and service, great recommendations for food choices. We each ordered two dishes and a dessert with French press coffee and an aquavit each... great beer from local breweries... the entire menu was so delicious and beautifully presented/served... our recommendations: dyrlaegens natmad, herresild, potato bread, puff pastry pie with chicken and asparagus, and the wonderful kiksekage... and many Danes, also enjoying themselves... and the prices were perfectly reasonable... the decor and furnishings of the café are beautifully nostalgic... it's great that places like this exist here...
