Really delicious ice cream. Good variety. Good sizes of old-fashioned ice cream cones. We have tried eating there too, which was also really good.

We came here over the weekend to get a hot dog and fish and chips. Both were excellent! Later, we also had a "lille softis" (small soft serve), which wasn't small at all. It was fantastic! The best soft serve ever!

The soft serve ice cream was great 🥰 The hot dogs were just regular sausages and they were cold. There were also too many fresh onions and the mustard was overpowering.

14/05/2026: Coming all the way from the USA, I can honestly say this place is absolutely worth visiting! The food looks amazing and tastes even better. The atmosphere is fantastic, the prices are very reasonable, and the beer selection is excellent with plenty of great options to choose from. The staff and owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re nearby, do yourself a favor and come enjoy some delicious food along with beautiful views of the sea. Definitely a spot I’ll remember and recommend to others!
13/05/2026: Frankel 5 in Havneby is a restaurant where you can truly relax and enjoy yourself. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We had the Stjerneskud, the star platter, and were completely satisfied. The service and ambiance are first-class. We give it 5 stars and our highest recommendation.

11/12/2025: A fantastic restaurant, a wonderful atmosphere, a super friendly owner, and the breakfast couldn't have been better. Five stars aren't enough, really, but there were two of us and we're happy to both give it five stars, so ten in total. Thank you so much, Malu and Ulla!
09/12/2025: Really worth a visit. There is a SO cozy and relaxed atmosphere in the old barn, which is beautifully decorated - enjoy the warmth by the wood-burning stove and taste some of the homemade dishes - have a chat with Merete and maybe buy some ceramics etc. to take home.
