You can eat the best and tastiest ice cream in Denmark🇩🇰 on Rømø, at Fru Dax. Delicious scoop and soft serve ice cream, with a huge selection of flavors. The price is high by Dutch standards, but the ice creams here are truly huge.

Got a big shooting star. It was more than I could eat. Lots of shrimp, 2 beautiful fish fillets, a fish salad instead of steamed fish. Cold smoked salmon, salad and bread. It tasted good

A very authentic restaurant with very friendly service; ordering was possible in several languages, including German and English. The burger and fries were delicious. The strawberry soft serve ice cream was also very tasty.

Here you'll find a nice restaurant with a selection to suit everyone. The staff is attentive and very friendly. The food is served promptly, is plentiful, and beautifully presented. The prices are a bit higher, but overall it's highly recommended. 👌🏻

Friendly ladies behind the counter who speak German. She explained her selection of sweets very well. They offer handmade candies. A sample was included with our very good cup of coffee.

31/07/2026: I enjoyed the most delicious blueberry cake with skyr cream 🤤 and it was truly not sweet but refreshing 👌 thank you so much 🤗 And I immediately joined the surprise dinner the next evening. Simply delicious and a heartfelt thank you for this wonderful evening 🤤🤤👍👍👌
11/07/2026: We had another wonderful experience here. After calling to ask whether there was still a spot available, we were welcomed very warmly. Merethe prepared a delicious dinner and showed not only what a fantastic cook she is, but also what a warm, hospitable and attentive hostess she is. Coincidentally, it was my birthday that day, and she responded to that in a very lovely way with streamers and extra attention. That made it truly special. The location is also beautiful and atmospheric. We thought the shared dinner with the other guests was a great added value. It is a wonderful opportunity to exchange experiences and travel stories with people from different countries. Thank you so much, Merethe, for your warm welcome and hospitality. We will definitely come back again!

27/07/2026: We only ordered coffee. We were greeted very warmly, asked immediately for sugar and milk, and the coffee tasted great (chocolate with it is simply delicious). The young, attractive woman spoke Danish to us, and we spoke German... BUT we had a pleasant conversation and understood each other with hand gestures. Next time we come back to Rømø, we'll have lunch there. Their menu is really appealing!
24/07/2026: Good food, friendly staff, order arrived quickly, which was especially helpful with children.
