Cafe Hattesgaard Tønder

My first thought: I'm in cake heaven! I've never seen a café that presents its cakes and pastries so beautifully. And the best part: they don't just look good, they taste amazing too! You order and pay at the counter. You get a number, and your order is then brought to your table. There are tables on the terraces in front of and behind the cozy thatched-roof house. You can also sit inside. Unfortunately, we only discovered later that there's a second floor with even more seating. All sorts of antiques and secondhand goods invite you to browse.

Friendly staff and really great cakes. Even shortly before closing, there was still a wide selection.

Good cakes and good coffee. We have been here many times before and have been very satisfied. Unfortunately, the prices have increased quite dramatically and no longer match the quality.

A very nice place with rustic decor and a lovely garden. The staff seemed a bit stressed. The prices are completely exorbitant. A slice of cake for around €10 and a French press (they didn't have any other coffee) for almost €10. Despite this, it's very popular and busy.

I would highly recommend this place 🤩 the cakes tasted really good and it's almost hard to choose which cake to have because there are so many different varieties 🍰 it's a really cozy place and you can sit inside and outside. I'd love to come back 😍

A charming café with just a few tables inside, but plenty of space in front and behind. Very friendly staff. Delicious cakes and tarts decorated with real flowers and leaves, among other things, and well worth the price. The coffee selection is limited to various French press varieties, which taste wonderfully aromatic thanks to freshly ground beans. Highly recommended!
