Café Kjukken Sønderborg

Delicious local food. Thick slices of sausage and amazing shrimp.

At Café Kjukken you get really great food and everything.

A truly wonderful place, delicious food at a very fair price for Denmark, friendly service and a lovely intercultural atmosphere ❤️ We will definitely come back on our next visit to Sønderborg!

Fantastic service, great food and a delicious view of the water, so all in all a 5🌟 experience

Super delicious. Very fresh and delicious food. Sweet and fast service. Definitely worth a visit.

Friendly staff and the portions are great!!

Great food and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended 🤪😃😀

After exploring Sonderborg in the morning, we decided to have lunch at Cafe Kjukken. It is a modern, bright, and cozy cafe, right next to the library. Large windows offer a view of the wide waters of the fjord that runs through Sonderborg. We ordered an iced coffee, a decaffeinated coffee, and rye bread with fish fillet, shrimp, lettuce, roe, and mayonnaise. The taste, freshness, and presentation of the plate were fantastic. The service was friendly, humorous, and knowledgeable—top-notch. The value for money is good. A wonderful lunch for us in Sonderborg.

Really nice and inviting decor. The food was top notch with good ingredients and the staff was friendly and chatted with us. Super experience
