Delicious food and great service. Very impressed by the wide variety of drinks they were able to make at the tiny upstairs bar!

The food was great, the view with the sunshine was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. We'd love to come back!

The food is very good, both the fish and the pizza. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. The staff is always very attentive to the customers' needs.

Super cozy atmosphere and good food

We recently visited Torve Hallen for a birthday celebration. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff were friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The food was generally good, although the meat was surprisingly under-seasoned and lacked flavor. Unfortunately, the service experience was disappointing. We waited almost 30 minutes just to place our order, 15 minutes for drinks to arrive, and around 75 minutes from entering the restaurant until our food was served. The biggest issue was the handling of the birthday arrangements. Despite agreeing in advance that sparkling wine would be waiting at the table, it was only provided after an additional reminder. We also had to discuss the pre-arranged birthday dessert with three different staff members, even though it had been organized several days earlier. While the staff were consistently kind and helpful, there seemed to be a lot of confusion and poor coordination among the team, which created a noticeable sense of chaos throughout the evening. Overall, Torve Hallen is a decent restaurant with a nice atmosphere, but the long waits and lack of organization prevented it from being a truly enjoyable or memorable experience.

Atmosphere and service were great. Unfortunately all of us got the burger which was very mediocre with dry meat.

Stop by now, it's a fantastic place. It's cozy with a lot of cozy. Friendly staff and just a really cozy atmosphere. We ordered asparagus soup, which tasted really good, a double burger of 400g, which tasted really good, there could have been a little more of the delicious sauce in the burger, or whatever was in it. But the burger was delicious and good. We got a delicious Caesar salad that tasted fresh and with a dressing that tasted really good. We got a lasagna, which also just tasted like homemade lasagna. Two weissbeer that were fresh, maybe a touch of citrus in it. In any case, delicious beers. One star is missing for service, as the waiters were unfortunately so busy that we didn't get to order more drinks. A really nice and cozy restaurant, which is a must visit if you are in Sønderborg. There is a view of the water😃

Loved this place. Even we were a big group service and food was delivered with no delay and at quality. Good selection of the beer and nice view to the canal.
