Good lunch spot in Hirtshals. We ate 3 x Mexican burgers with juicy steaks, well seasoned with jalapenos, 1 x shooting star with lots of freshly peeled prawns and 1 x baked potato with chicken and bacon. All dishes were delicately prepared with fresh side dishes. A fl. Austrian Müenzenrieder sauvignon blanc for the adults was a good buy at DKK 285. Fast and friendly service in a good atmosphere and with a view of the fishing port.

Immediately on the road that leads past Hirtshals harbor you will find the small Cafe Møller. As soon as we entered the cafe we ​​were greeted warmly and were able to choose a nice window seat with a view of part of the harbor basin. By the way, there are a lot of window seats because most of the outside wall was glass fronts. The aim was to end a pre-Christmas stroll through Hirtshals with a warming coffee and a piece of cake. However, when reading the menu we realized that we had to fundamentally expand the content of our definition of "cafe" because here we had "landed" in a small but fine restaurant that had a typical Danish menu on the menu. Cake was only listed under the daily specials category on the menu. The young man from the friendly waitress then recommended a Danish Christmas specialty - Æbleskiver, a pastry with apple and cinnamon flavor, which tasted delicious. In any case, this cafe is highly recommended and we will definitely stop by for coffee next time we visit Hirtshals.

We had very good hot chocolate with cream+dessert. Nice place to wait when you go on the ferry to Norway. Will come again soon.🙂

Just stopped by for a fast late lunch and the fact that they don’t close between the services was a blessing. Super fresh and tasteful food and a simple but gorgeous presentation in a super cozy restaurant, I need to say more? Must try if you pass in the area :)
