Fantastic place with lovely food and super service.

Delicious smørrebrød and quick service with a twinkle in the eye. A really good atmosphere inside and it's great that you can sit outside at tables for two.

Tredje gången vi besöker detta ställe. Och vi kommer gärna tillbaka igen och igen! Smarriga, prisvärda smörrebröd serverade av stolt och engagerad personal. Allt är fräscht och välsmakande. Mysigt och intimt smörrebrödsställe där du får smörrebröd som de smakade förr. Prova smörrebröd med tartar!

My wonderful brother invited us for lunch, and we ordered the most delicious Parisian steak, it was SO beautiful, pink fried on butter-fried bread, and with homemade side dishes. The service was also top notch, and I would love to come again, so thank you for today, both to little brother and Café Sorgenfri 😘

If you want to treat yourself, Café Sorgenfri is definitely worth a visit. Hubby and I enjoyed the most wonderful smørrebrød. Husband got a piece with fish fillet, prawns and delicious side dishes. Then followed by the Veterinarian's Dinner, in a gigantic version, and with fat underneath!!! I got a colossal Tartar. - afterwards deep-fried camembert. We went home happy with full bellies, see you again ☺️ ♥️

Excellent traditional lunch restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen. Wonderful and large open face sandwiches with wide choice including fish and meat.

Both food, service and atmosphere deserve more than 5 stars. An absolutely fantastic experience.

Authentic Danish with wonderful butter bread and schnapps. Lovely staff and wonderful atmosphere both outside and inside. We were looking for buttered bread and really got what we were looking for like herring, plaice and Danish pork roast with rind and left very full and satisfied. Recommend this cafe without hesitation 😉!
