Chicky Grill København

Great place, delicious food, and bottled beer, but not the typical stuff. Worth a visit.

As everyone probably know, any Nordic countries are expensive, specially to eat out. I was looking on Google where to go for danish food without breaking the bank and I saw chicky. The restaurant was literally just few blocks down by my hotel so I went with a friend of mine before they close walking. First the decoration it’s like a very old school US dinner or a Christmas market type, it was so cool and cozy, absolutely awesome. Then we ordered a traditional danish plate recommended by a very friendly and well English spoken waiter. When I’m telling it was delicious it was because indeed was DELICIOUS. I almost lick the plate lol. I recommend this place 100%, I had such a great time and awesome meals at Chick’s.

The best danish restaurant that you can find! The food was amazing, the service is friendly and the location is great! It is also cheap for Copenhagen, one meal is about 115 krn which is really good! The only problem is that you can wait for your meal for 40 minutes, but it is worth it! I highly recommend!

Really great place with local food and reasonable prices. If you’re around there, definitely visit for dinner. Check for 2 people dinner (meat with potatoes and salad) with beer was 250dkk. Super happy for taste.

Good Danish food that tastes homemade and at reasonable prices. Pork roast sandwich. Fast service. The cutlery was dirty, however, asked for new ones, the knife was also dirty. That's why they get 4 stars

An old school local dining experience in a hip dining area. Several options within walking distance but was very glad to have dined here. It can get busy with what I perceive as locals about 6:30. One orders at the counter (request a menu in English). There is a daily special and it is likely to be one of their regular meals! Snag a table immediately; divide and conquer if dining with friends. Limited outdoor seating. Beer and wine available. I had the fish and quite honestly I thought I could really regret this but it was fantastic! The lightly fried fish is plated up over a slice of bread which has a heavy dose of mayo smeared on top along with some roe, small shrimp and white celery. Perfect for a light meal. My male companion opted for the pork dinner with an accompanying piece of fried pork rind albeit tasty one could crack a crown right off one’s teeth! Served with warm grated beets and boiled potatoes and gravy he was satisfied! The gal at the counter speaks vey good English and has a good sense of humor! It’s definitely worth a stop!
