We ate in once and ordered takeout twice. Each time it was delicious and the portions were generous. The staff is very attentive and friendly. No long wait times. The prices are absolutely reasonable. Dogs are welcome.

We spontaneously decided to go with 6 adults and 5 children aged 1 to 5! There were high chairs and even snacks for the little ones. Puzzles were also provided to keep us entertained. The food was absolutely delicious, the menu was varied with something for everyone, and the value for money was perfect!

This restaurant would outdo anything in Søndervig if you live there. Easy parking. Take the extra 20 minutes - it's worth it.

Café Gaflen

29/06/2026: The best soft serve ice cream with cinnamon-sugar topping. We only eat our ice cream there. Unbeatable value for money. In town itself, you have to queue to get expensive soft serve. Café Gaflen is simple and good. You can sit outside in the sun and watch the ships go through the lock. The staff is always friendly!
23/06/2026: Expensive for the standard of the dish. Nice staff. Sauce was not included in the dish and had to be purchased for an extra cost. Got tube sauce instead. They generally felt stingy.

24/07/2026: Large selection of fish specialties. Reasonable prices, some things are overpriced but mostly good 😋. Not all salads are homemade.
22/07/2026: Fantastic fish buffet. Friendly service and excellent value for money. Reservations are highly recommended.
