Everything you could wish for. In a Danish context, a less expensive Michelin experience. And it doesn’t disappoint. Value for money (still in relative terms) and the experience of the caviar starter or the new Danish potatoes with truffles are not to be missed. Kudos to all the smiling, knowledgeable waiters/sommeliers. Thanks for having us

For a Michelin-star restaurant they really need to improve their service. It is not only the food but the overall experience and Formel B does not live up to standard.
We were seated at our table and then had to wait a really long time to get the menu. The restaurant was not full so this was a bit strange. Then we had some questions about the wine list so another long wait for the waiter to notice us. We had water spilled on the table and it was left there the entire evening, no one bothered to wipe it off. The water bottle was taken for a refill and she forgot to bring it back, I had to ask for it.
They would explain differently the same dishes to different people, which is annoying and takes away from the experience.
The food itself was nice but not really spectacular. You can choose your own menu and try different things. The dessert was fun.
Overall OK and cheap for a 1-star restaurant but didn't meet expectations.

Excellent tasting menu concept with choice of dishes to tailor to tastes. Every dish was delicious. Kitchen was thorough and considerate on my dining companions food allergy as well. Would recommend.

It’s a Michellin restaurant. The environment was nice and warm. The menu was different from usual Michellin Restaurant, customers can choose freely from the dishes according to individual preferences. That’s a really cool idea. The vibe was cool. Highly recommended.

Muchos restaurantes de estrellas Michelin ofrecen un menú de fijación de premios donde puede estar menos que emocionado con algunos de los platos que obtendrá, pero Formel le ofrece seleccionar cinco platos cualesquiera del menú que contiene aperitivos, entradas, postres y puede seleccionar cualquier combinación. Elegí un aperitivo, dos entradas y dos postres, mientras que mi esposo tenía tres entradas y un postre. Las entradas y los postres parecían de igual tamaño.
Ambos disfrutamos de la hiramasa salada, que es un pescado limpio y cremoso que salió elegantemente presentado en forma de rosa.
Conseguí la langoustina asada con calabaza encurtida, naranja y vadouvan seguido del sarro de ternera danés con col rizada, grosella roja encurtida, masa madre crujiente y salsa de oliva.
Los postres fueron el Blood orange con pistacho y crema agria con pimienta timut y el Sea buckthorn au surprise (postre característico que parece un erizo en merengue). Recomiendo encarecidamente ambos postres. Mi marido compró el postre de pan de centeno y queso, así que tenemos que probar todos los postres.

El servicio de Frida y Mikkel que fue perfectamente cronometrado, nunca apresurado o esperando demasiado tiempo entre cursos y explicaciones fueron claros y en un buen volumen. Tuvimos una de las primeras mesas debajo de la ventana que estaba ligeramente por debajo del nivel de la calle y afortunadamente no había mucha gente ni ruido. Tuvimos una noche maravillosa y relajante.
Después de Mikkel rellenó nuestra segunda botella de agua después del postre, Frida nos hizo saber que teníamos que pedir el cheque cuando lo queríamos y fuimos bienvenidos a quedarnos todo el tiempo que quisiéramos ya que teníamos la mesa para la noche. Luego tuvimos una buena discusión sobre el cuidado de la salud danés vs. americano, la educación y la seguridad por la noche.
Tuvimos un viaje culinario increíble con un excelente servicio de Frida y Mikkel y sin duda volvería cuando estemos en Copenhague.

Many Michelin star restaurants offer a prix fixe menu where you may be less than thrilled on some of the dishes you will get, but Formel B offers you to select any five dishes from the menu which contains appetizers, entrees, desserts and you can select any combination. I chose one appetizer, two entrees, and two desserts while my husband had three entrees and one dessert. The entrees and desserts seemed equally sized.
We both enjoyed the salted hiramase which is a creamy clean fish that came out elegantly presented in a rose shape.
I got the roasted langoustine with pickled pumpkin, orange, and vadouvan followed by the Danish beef tartar with kale, pickled red currant, crispy sourdough and olive sauce.
The desserts were the Blood orange with pistachio and sour cream with timut pepper and the Sea buckthorn au surprise (signature dessert that looks like a hedgehog in meringue). I highly recommend both desserts. My husband got the cheese and rye bread dessert, so we got to try all the desserts.
We thoroughly enjoyed all our dishes and the
service from Frida and Mikkel which was perfectly timed, never rushed or waiting too long between courses and explanations were clear and at a good volume. We had one of the first tables under the window that was slightly below street level and fortunately it was not crowded or noisy. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening.
After Mikkel refilled our second bottle of water after dessert, Frida let us know we had to ask for the check when we wanted it and we were welcome to stay as long as we wanted since we had the table for the night. We then had a nice discussion on Danish vs American health care, education, and safety at night.
We had an incredible culinary journey with excellent service from Frida and Mikkel and would definitely return when we are in Copenhagen.

The concept is simple enough but very effective. They have 12 dishes and the menu is 5 dishes to chose from those 12. Since we were 2, they suggested to order 10 different ones (or the 12 and pay 2 as extra) . We ordered 10 different ones and shared. Since they do that often, they pair them so both clients have always a dish. I would recommend in that case they say which one to eat first if the clients are sharing. We found out some combinations of starting with one vs the other were much better. Otherwise, everything was super tasteful, well prepared and very different. At the end we were very satisfied which is also an important aspect. The place is cosy and the employees were very friendly and attentive.

Wonderful all around. The space is as beautiful as the courses they serve. Every detail is thought of — brought to life by an attentive, welcoming and knowledgable team. Just an example of their top-tier service: they freshly baked gluten-free bread for me so that I had the same experience as other patrons (and it was probably the best bread I’ve had). Can’t wait to go back!
