Frankel 5 Tønder

We dined at Frankel 5 again. Both the delicious appetizers—shrimp cocktail and garlic bread with tomato and cheese—and the excellent filet steak with a flavorful peppercorn sauce were superbly prepared and an absolute delight. The service was once again incredibly friendly, attentive, and courteous. We, along with our friends and family, have always been thrilled with our visits to Frankel 5. We highly recommend this restaurant!

We just finished dining at Restaurant Frankel 5 again. The food was once more outstanding, and the service was very friendly and attentive. The filet steak was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The side dishes were plentiful and equally delicious. For starters, we had a prawn cocktail and garlic bread with tomato and cheese. It was a delight, and we can absolutely recommend this excellent restaurant!

When we were in Rømø, we ate there almost every day. Great burgers.

June 2024: We had coffees, cake of the day and Rhubarb juice. Very friendly staff, with excellent English skills. Provided water for our dogs too.

Good food, friendly service, but nothing particularly outstanding.

Yes, they're well-versed in gluten-free food here, and it tasted good, too. But I imagined fish & chips to be something other than unfloured/unbreaded fish.

Steak and burgers were very tasty, veal schnitzel not so good, very friendly service.

We went there because we were allowed to take our dog. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the atmosphere cozy, perhaps a bit cluttered with junk. The food was plentiful, but could have used a bit more bold seasoning. Fried potatoes from the air fryer aren't our thing either; fried in a cast iron pan would be better. The fries were great, especially with the red dip. Next time we're on Rømø, we'll definitely be back! There was very pleasant live music on Saturday evening; it was packed, but they still found a seat for us. Many thanks to the manager!

Unfortunately, we were only here for coffee and cake. The warm apple pie with whipped cream and sour cream – world-class! Very original ambiance and very friendly service. Highly recommended.

Lovely light lunch at reasonable prices. Unfortunately our table was not in the best location in a slightly dark corner of the restaurant.
