Really poor service, there were 5 of us, 4 of us ordered steak on the hot stone and 1 ordered a burger, the burger came 10 minutes before our other people's food along with another table's food where they had ordered burgers, I ordered a starter of garlic bread which we asked for twice and it ended up coming when we were about to finish, they apologized for it as a human error, but it was sliced ​​bread with garlic butter so how it could be anything other than poor service and lack of skills I have a hard time seeing. Maybe there was a lack of an adult to manage the staff and the kitchen. I have a hard time seeing myself coming back.

We love coming here. The service is friendly and they strive to create a wonderful atmosphere. The stone grill is not only fun but also very tasty. The tiger prawns on a stone grill and the hamburger are also highly recommended. See you next time 👋🏼👍🏼

We bought the spareribs lunch deal for 69 kr. Really delicious, the best fries of the year for me and super ribs. I will definitely go back when I hit Assens again.

Super delicious “fry your own beef tenderloin” 🤗😋 Not what we were going for, but hey, it’s good we tried it. Cool concept. There should have been a few more vegetables we could have fried on the plate. Thank you very much for the good food 🤗

A place close to my heart. Being addressed in Danish, as it should be. And effortlessly switching to English. I also brushed up on my Danish, "tak for det." The staff were kind enough to recommend a starter and main course, which I love. The food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. I can only give compliments.

Restaurant Frederik IX ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really fun and different experience to cook your own steak at the table 🥩🔥. The steak was perfect, and the taste was top notch 😋. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service 😃 and a place where you can really enjoy a good dinner with family or friends 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. There is also good parking right outside the restaurant 🚗, which makes it extra easy to visit the place.

We visited Assens for the first time and had a great experience at this restaurant. It was completely empty of guests when we arrived but suddenly it was completely full. It seemed to be a very popular local eatery.

18/10/2025: The place is well visited ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First time at an Italian restaurant – and definitely not the last! 🇮🇹 We had both lamb and wild boar, and wait a minute… it tasted excellent! The lamb was tender and juicy, the wild boar had a nice deep flavor, and the sauces were just right in the cupboard. The garnish wasn’t exactly my taste, but never mind – the meat and sauce more than made up for it. The dessert, “Tortino di Mele”, came in like a little bird’s nest with ice cream and apples – tasted great and rounded off the evening in just the right way. 🍏🍨 The waiters were smiling, fast and super friendly – ​​you felt really welcome. The food came quickly, the atmosphere was cozy, and the place was well visited (which says it all). All in all: a really good experience – we will definitely be back! 🙌

16/10/2025: Perfect it's a place you'll want to come back to again the food was delicious
11/09/2025: There were 4 of us on a trip to Helnæs, and the only place where you could get lunch was at Helnæs Kro. We were given the menu as soon as we arrived, and it all looked good, but we were also offered 4 times plaice, just arrived, completely fresh. We accepted that offer and spent the waiting time drinking some absolutely wonderful beers from Midtfyns Bryghus. The plaice arrived and they were absolutely tasty and with good sauce and potatoes. Good service meant that we also ordered desserts and here we were not disappointed either, quite the opposite. We left happy.
