Gl. Brydegaard Assens

This was our second stay at Gl. Brydegaard, and we enjoyed it again to the fullest. Lovely atmosphere, cozy garden and decor, very friendly staff, many quirky and fun details.

A beautiful, small Danish hotel in the dunes. A lovely, romantic garden, excellent Danish cuisine, and extremely friendly staff.

Fantastic location, great service in the most beautiful surroundings.

Had a lovely meal with a delicious sauce with the veal steak. The staff really wanted to please us, you could tell. Moving from outside to inside was no problem for them either. It is a beautiful rustic spot, where they have tried to make tables by reusing old wine barrels. The woven chair swings under the chestnut tree are also a nice detail!

Look, this is a nice, cozy and beautiful place. Exciting food and very skilled and sweet staff

This place is very quiet. I suggest having a walk to the seaside. I really enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The room was a little cold, I suggest preparing it warmer before guests arrive. I think I will choose it against coming back to Assen.

Really nice place. We stayed in a room in ‘Lyset’ about 300 m from the main building. Quiet rooms and a fantastic view towards Feddet

My sister and I would like to say thank you very much for a wonderful birthday family stay with you last weekend. Everything was as we had hoped, even the weather ☀️Fantastic location, friendly and responsive staff who met all our wishes, good food, nice rooms. It can't be done better! Gammel Brydegård is highly recommended. Very warm 😊
