We had a buffet one evening at the smokehouse, there weren't many customers, the food was really good, as was the selection. Service is a bit so-so, it's self-service and the person at the bar disappeared every now and then, so we ran "dry" so to speak.

Cozy place, delicious food and friendly service. However, the otherwise delicious buffet lacks some kind of salad.

Here you can try all the typical fish dishes associated with Bornholm. If you can't choose, there is a buffet with everything.

Of course, Sun over Gudhjem. Tasted just as it should.

Rustic restaurant in the old fish smokehouse. A la carte or buffet available, with indoor and outdoor seating right by the harbor. The staff was rather reserved, which is probably the case after a busy season... The buffet consists of many smoked and pickled fish varieties, salads, and delicious bread. Everything is appetizingly presented and constantly refilled. Unfortunately, there are no hot dishes, only lukewarm fish cakes and one type of fried fillet. We enjoyed the food; for the equivalent of €25, there was nothing wrong with this buffet. However, it's not the real highlight.

Really delicious fresh fish buffet

Highly recommended. Huge selection of seafood (95%). Deliciously prepared and reasonably priced. Great ambiance inside and out, with a regular terrace offering a fantastic view of the water and a terrace with stairs leading up for a wider view of the Baltic Sea. If you want to try a wide variety of dishes, opt for the buffet.
