Updated 26: Stopped by and had an excellent sandwich, served by tired and unengaged staff. Top rating downgraded A small oasis with good time and pleasant service. Good thick slices of fresh rye bread for the open sandwiches. Good sandwiches. Try something with the parsley pesto👌

My boyfriend and I had the best Caesar salad ever at Hjaltes, and we can only recommend the place for whatever it is for food or coffee. We have been to Hjaltes several times, and the food is always really delicious!

Super cozy café in Ganløse 🤩 fresh ingredients, homemade and tastes so delicious! The service is top notch! Even though I live in Copenhagen, this café is worth a visit! It won't be the last time I come here 😋👍

I arrived a little after closing time at the Café, and asked if it was possible to order some quick sandwiches. The employee Frederikke was very understanding, and without a shark to make sandwiches! She was very welcoming, and accepted the order with a smile on her face. She clearly has top-notch hospitality skills, and I can definitely recommend.

Highly recommended! We have both eaten in the café and had food delivered - both super delicious. Big thanks to Hjalte's sweet staff for packing our brunch delivered so nicely! Everything just worked and tasted great. We will definitely be back 😊

Their cafe is cozy and the service is top notch. Their cookies with licorice are really good. "Gårdhaven" is located right next to Ganløse Hovedgade so little traffic and noise. The cafe is often used as a cake/coffee stop by cyclists etc.

And because there are many companies eating the dish of the day, it should be possible to order something else on the menu. Otherwise, you should consider whether there should be fewer options on the menu. Therefore, be prepared to wait a good while if you order something other than the dish of the day.
