29/03/2024: Small cozy cafe. Good food. Would love to come again.

24/03/2024: Beautiful, bright café with a cozy little children's corner. Simple and honest concept with everything made from scratch in the cafe or bought locally. I ordered a sandwich with pesto and salmon salad - I have never sunk my teeth into softer, more flavorful bread! Had to ask for the secret, which he carefully explained with four different types of flour, how and where they were ground and it was so clear that he had love and passion for his craft. The only downside is that after our visit we can no longer really be satisfied with an everyday life of boring factory-produced bread, which has suddenly become very dry and tasteless 😆

24/03/2024: We are 4 people who walk through the door at Ganløse Kro at 20.45. We are greeted by a waiter who tells us that the kitchen is closed. When we ask what time the kitchen closes, he answers 20.45, in the very minute we were talking to him. At the same time, another waiter adds by saying that if we had used the front door and not the entrance from the guest car park, they would probably have seen us a minute earlier and then we could have ordered food. So we were turned away because we were there for the same number of minutes as the kitchen closed and because we had not used the front door. You mostly had the feeling that the kitchen just wanted to get home quickly and was not interested in more guests, even though we were basically there on time. Furthermore, the inn has not updated the kitchen's opening hours on Google. Here it only appears that the inn closes at 10 p.m.

04/12/2023: Fantastic luxury Christmas menu which was delivered on time and with very good instructions. Not the last time we order at Ølstykke kro ❤️

31/10/2023: We were a company of 30 people. Sanni arranged a nice and delicious lunch buffet with everything that goes with it. Super service by Pia who neatly followed up the glasses. A place we come again when we have to celebrate something.👍👍👍

03/02/2024: Rigtig fint besøg. Vi var blot forbi for et par hurtige stykker smørbrød - dette var der ikke en finger at sætte på. Hyggelig stemning, trist at der i sommers var så mange hvepse. Tvivler på at det blot var omvandrende, men mere sandsynligt med et bo i nærheden.

10/12/2023: A gem in Smørum. Absolutely fantastic food. Every time. Especially when they drive today's right. You can always take it easy. High quality, things are well made and homemade. Good homemade béarnaise. Within the last few months, I've had everything from a Mortens Aften dish, bygotto with chicken, truffle and parmesan, roast pork sandwich and burger. Everything has been super delicious. A place I really like to eat at, support and not least tell others about. I would highly recommend Restaurant Eagle.
