Hotel Hedegaarden Vejle

If you book a gastronomic weekend stay and expect a gastronomic experience, you will be badly disappointed. The reception was poor, the food was mediocre, the rooms were poorly cleaned. We were also unlucky that there was a company Christmas lunch, which meant loud noise and karaoke throughout the dinner both nights. The staff could not state what ingredients the food contained, which is problematic in relation to allergens. The stay was most reminiscent of a motel, with extreme noise from drunk guests shouting and arguing outside our window all night. It is not a place we will visit again.

Great hotel and fantastic restaurant. The room was spotlessly clean, though a bit warm, which seems to be the trend for most hotels these days. Fortunately, the window opens wide. There was also ample parking. The restaurant was fantastic. Beautifully presented, and everything on the plate was delicious. The dessert was surprisingly well-made and incredibly delicious. Highly recommended for a stopover or for dinner alone.

We booked the recently renovated green rooms. Comfortable beds, a good breakfast, and excellent service from Linda, who was able to rebook the room for another date. A good hotel for a stopover because it's close to the highway.

Perfect little hotel for the traveller, nice Scandinavian style breakfast. Special thanks to linda at the front desk, for her helpfull and smiley service.
