10/05/2026: An unfortunately slightly overrated place, where the prices don't quite match what is served on the plate. However, praise for the cozy, unpretentious atmosphere. The restaurant has a slightly strange choice to serve and arrange the tartare at the table, which I have not encountered before, and which seems unnecessary, even a little pretentious. For the main course I had been looking forward to a beef wellington, but unfortunately the kitchen did not live up to this, as the steak was on the dry side; on the other hand, the baked crust was excellent. Things went wrong for the young man when dessert was to be served, where he happened to touch another plate with one plate, which spoiled an otherwise beautifully arranged piece of gateau marcel - mistakes can happen and the young man offered a new dish, which we declined. The drinks menu is murderously boring if you want an aperitif.
04/05/2026: I visited the restaurant on Saturday night around 10pm and had a ribeye with side dishes – and it was a really good experience.
The food was incredibly tasty, the meat perfectly cooked and of high quality. Special praise must go to the young waiters, both the boy and the girl, who provided impressive service. The boy in particular had a remarkable knowledge of the meat they served – among other things, he spoke insightfully about their Kobe beef, which really lifted the experience.
A small detail was that there was no salt and pepper on the table, but it was quickly and kindly brought when I asked.
All in all, a really good experience with both delicious food and committed staff. Highly recommended.
