We are always happy to come to Jensens Bøfhus. Today was also a birthday.
This time we were poorly received.
You weren't sure if there was a table for 4 even though the restaurant was far from full
It took a long time to get the food, 35 minutes, and when the chef calls the food is ready, the food is not picked up and served until a few minutes later.
We ask about the member discount when paying. We can't get it because we haven't eaten the member menus.
Since we insist that the strawberry dream is advertised as a member menu, we just stab each other in the hand and a curt *goodbye!".
Holidays are a testing time for both shops, restaurants, tourists and locals.
You might try a little more with the positive when we are hit by summer.
The ordinary boring will probably return.
You can do better, Jensens Bøfhus!!

If I had known the kitchen closed 1 hour after I ordered All you Can eat, I would have chosen something else.
It could have been successful if the food came through faster though.

The restaurant in Esbjerg is really cozy, and although it is a large place, it is well decorated.
During the visit, we took advantage of a Deal offer for steak with fries and soft ice cream ad libitum, which was quite reasonable for the price.
On previous visits to the restaurant, we have been offered extra fries or sauce, but were not offered this this time. Whether it is because inflation or because we haven't paid full price, or something else entirely, I don't know.
The availability and hygiene around the soft ice department was, however, a little impractically arranged, if you had to have caramel sauce, for example, and crumbs sprinkled a lot on the side.
It was difficult not to leave a mess and sticky mess behind. conditions/storage.
And not at all optimal when/if children handle it.

There weren't that many but they had also only just opened, I was there with my son, it was very nice, the food tasted good, had a lunch steak fried like red and it was good and juicy.

I always go for the red rump 😉
it is a nice restaurant with lots of parking, the staff is smiling and helpful.
it is a very good place to eat, i would say one of the best in that price range 🤔
