Jettes Diner Svendborg

Jette's dinner. Got its claim to fame in lonely planet in the late nineties, where Svendborg was mentioned with how to get there and then Jette's dinner. My brother and I were back in our childhood town and visited the place for nostalgia's sake. The burger was as I remembered them, with a large rustic bun. The salad and other greens were fresh and good quality. The steaks were unfortunately so overcooked that they were completely dry. It's just not good enough for a burger at that price.

It's a bit cramped inside and it can be difficult to pull out your chair if someone is sitting behind you. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, the service is okay (a bit young staff) and the price is reasonable.

Authentic local watering hole that's also a hit with travelers. Lively atmosphere, great grub at a reasonable price.

A good place if you want a burger

Ikke helt som jeg huskede det... Men der var meget som var bedre i 80'erne... Så vidt jeg husker;-)

An okay place to eat. The food was really good, but there wasn't much atmosphere and the furnishings were a bit worn out

No nachos to speak of. The new variety of pig burger, was with a very small steak, and almost only salad. The good place is not what it used to be.

Very tasty burgers, generous portions, everything freshly prepared! The service is very friendly; I definitely recommend it.

The personel did their best but they were clearly understaffed. In spite of this smiles all around. Food was ok.

Betjening og servering var som det passer sig på en Dinner restaurant. Maden ligger over niveau i kvalitet og råvarer, tilberedning. Lokalerne er slidte og der er for proppet med møbler. Alligevel får de fire stjerner for engagement, venlighed, mad og drikkevarer.
