Mauritz Svendborg

Quite good and what you would expect for the price. However, it is not common to serve nachos that way. The dip is usually in small bowls, so you decide how much and in what order. A bit of a long wait for our food.

My family and I have been coming to Mauritz in Svendborg for many years and have always been happy with it. But since they moved, they have unfortunately changed their character quite a bit. The service is beyond reproach, super polite staff and a lovely atmosphere. It is pleasantly decorated with a combination of tables, sofas and conversation corners. What made the experience less good were the changes to the menu. The menu has become incredibly compressed and with dishes (personal preference) that do not live up to the previous standards and lack diversity in offerings. For example, they now use thigh in the chicken dishes, which most of all had an unpleasant consistency that reminded us of slop. All in all, a bit of a shameful change and we will unfortunately probably choose a new place to eat, although you can still stop by for coffee and cake😊

Good food. English steak with bearnaise sauce. We were placed at a table quite close to 2 other groups of guests. At one table, 4 young men were sitting and having a good time. I immediately told the waiter before we sat down that I thought they were having a good time a little too loudly and therefore asked for another table. There were probably tables down in another part of the restaurant. The young waiter just reacted a little confused/unsure to this. We were not assigned another table. The 4 men seemed to be a little quieter. However, I think the waiter should have given us another table. Doesn't a waiter usually do that when asked?

We celebrated my daughter's birthday. Great new premises, lovely light and great atmosphere. The food has really gotten a boost! The "grilled chicken" was so juicy and delicious. And I still dream about that apple cake!! Yum!

Ordered 2 menus through Wolt including drinks. Received 2 cold burgers and no drinks. Contacted Wolt but they said my food had arrived on time and therefore could not help, then contacted the restaurant and they immediately offered to make a new menu and throw in some delicious milkshakes on top. It's good service, can't see what I'll pay Wolt for in the future when they won't admit their mistake. Good thing we have honest people and the second time was PERFECT dead delicious burgers

There were 2 of us who had lunch there. We can really recommend their pasta dish and their sourdough bread with salmon. We also had cool white wine, Chardonney, The service was top notch. A lovely place, we will definitely come again

We were very satisfied with the food and service.
