King Of Kebab Svendborg

The atmosphere is ALWAYS good, and they have a good sense of humor. An always smiling staff who are lightning fast in making the food and the service is also top notch. However, they only get 4 stars for the food because I have yet to experience that their falafel is never properly hot. The taste, variety of different fillings is impeccable, there is just that thing missing with the falafel. Otherwise a good place to eat and there is plenty of food!

It's busy and sometimes it goes a little too fast. 2 chicken kebabs turned into beef and a little confused about how the system worked. You have to be ready to choose the filling and dressing. Value is good enough. Very happy with what I got. A bit of a crappy receipt that doesn't tell you what you bought

Review of King of Kebab – Good taste, but not the big “wow” King of Kebab in Svendborg is constantly bustling, and it is clear that the place is popular with the locals. People come and go in a steady stream, and it creates a feeling that you have come to a place where the food is really something special. I ordered a dörüm menu with chicken, spiced fries and a soda. The fries were a clear highlight – deliciously spiced and perfectly crispy. There was a small error in the order, where the chicken in my dörüm was missing, but it was quickly and kindly resolved without any problems. Their kebab has a nice taste, and they offer a nice selection of fillings and accessories, so you can get your dörüm exactly how you want it. However, I have to say that the dörüm roll itself felt very average – it lacked that little extra that could make it stand out. The taste was okay, but not something I would drive all the way from Zealand to experience again. I had probably unconsciously raised my expectations, precisely because there were so many people waiting – it seemed like a “must-try” place. That’s why I was a little disappointed when it all ended up feeling a bit… ordinary. Their chilli sauce was a plus though – good flavour, neither too strong nor too mild, and it lifted the taste experience a notch. All in all: A place with good energy, okay food and friendly service. But if you’re looking for a really special kebab experience, King of Kebab might not be the one that leaves a lasting impression – despite the long queue outside. There was a lot of mess and rubbish outside pvef The seating on the floors and around their outdoor area which was not nice.

After a long walk I was pretty hungry, so I decided I needed something to eat to satisfy my hunger. I enter King of Kebab and am greeted by an incredibly friendly man, we chat a bit back and forth, and I finally decide that I should have a roll kebab. I'm not used to eating that kind of thing there, so I had him make one for me. The roll kebab was extremely tasty and there was a nice outdoor seating area.

Best kebab I've had in Denmark, good service and great homemade chili sauce.

Yeah, there's not much to say, the kebab rolls they make here are simply great and I liked that you could build your own roll, it's just the king of kebab 👌
