Beautiful steaks with good bernaise and wonderful sides. Sweet and helpful service.
NOTE!: I had initially made a "bad" review, but the restaurant took care of it very well, so when we ended up with one more visit, it was a completely different experience. Nice to have a place that cares about people's bad experiences. It probably cannot be completely avoided that they occur from time to time, regardless of where you go. We were really satisfied after our second visit.

Ok, but no more.
The meat was a little too fried compared to what we wanted and it didn't matter. Might as well buy it yourself.
Very noisy. Sits close. Sparing service.

Very decent ribeye, tasted excellent, tender, good amount of fat, cooked to perfection as medium rare, but not really a dry aged taste and it could have been thicker than a finger.
Thumbs up for the service and the kitchen crew.
Thumbs down for the smoke and burnt smell all around.
All in all, I would recommend it!

We were at Köd in Admiralgade at the weekend. We had a table at 6pm, but arrived 15 minutes earlier. Should be sitting down in the basement. Which was ok - we've sat upstairs before, but it seems you sit really close there. This was also done in the basement, but the table next to it sat with its back to it. So you didn't have the feeling that you were interfering in each other's conversations.
We ordered stir-fry tartar and tri-tip tacos for starters. The tartar was good as always, but those tri-tip tacos were SO delicious! Tender meat in an insane marinade and with matching mango chutney and avocado cream. Huge recommendation from here.
For the main course, we ordered 400g of sirloin to share (chateaubriand). With homemade béarnaise and signature sauce. Insanely delicious meat. And sauces, and delicious with sauce ad libitum. Side dishes we chose burning love, tomato and basil and chilli/garlic fries. Burning love was way too sweet for my taste - tasted too much of caramelized onion. Tomato and basil were really nice. Our fritters didn't arrive until we were about to finish the meat and the other side dishes, so we couldn't finish them. We informed the waiters that it was missing, but I don't think the kitchen had made them. So that's why it took a while. They tasted ok.
For the food we got a lemonade ala Köd and a Mango twist. Really good drinks! And from the recommendation of the waiter, we got a glass of Ripasso for the main course.
The experience gets 4 stars. The cellar is very dark and we had difficulty calling the servants to us. Even though they were constantly walking into the chair I was sitting at, we had a hard time getting in touch with them. They were so cute when we finally got hold of them. Just a bit boring and feeling overlooked even if you are sitting in the middle of the room 😊

We had the Sunday roast dinner with free flowing tri tip steak and chips.
Staff were efficient and attentive and the food was simple but delicious.

We went to Köd for their "sunday roast", and we were blown away. The service was really kind and the serving was in general very fast. We had the table for 1h 45m and didn't wait for more than a few of minutes for our food at every order. The roast was very good and tender, and was served with frites and bearnaise - all was really good.
In the restaurant there was a really cozy atmosphere. We will definitely return!
