Madklubben Esbjerg

The main focus is the food and it holds up well, but lacks the final finesse for 5 stars. The service was ok, but when replacing dessert wine with an extra glass of red wine with the food, they solved the problem by downsizing the quality of the wine, because the dessert wine was cheaper. We would have preferred to be able to choose a glass of more expensive red wine of the same quality as in the wine menu for a completely fair extra payment, but we never got the opportunity. The good advice is that you should always make the cake bigger, then there is more to share - you should never downsize. 🙂

Delicious food, but far too small portions.

The food was really good. But the wine was really bad. I ordered a glass of "Pinot Noir" for 90 kroner. It tasted like the cheapest cardboard wine from Aldi. I have no idea what bottle it came from, it was poured into the glass behind the bar.

Very good food, nice environment, and above all good service from a friendly staff! We would love to come here again.

The drinks are good, but the food, well, I've had much better. I know Madklubben from Copenhagen, and it's much better there. The chicken had flabby skin, so it's better to leave it out. The radicchio should be soaked in ice water beforehand, then it won't be so bitter anymore. There's not enough sauce.

First time at Madklubben. Lovely place. Starters and main courses. Among other things Poached whitefish and the Club's burger. Delicious. Everyone was happy. An incident in the kitchen meant that one of the main courses was delayed. But Madklubben compensated for that in a nice way👍. Thanks for the food🙏

Wonderful wonderful experience. The food is incredibly delicious at good prices. Pleasant and professional staff who are very attentive to the guests. The food quality is top notch, the place is cozy and appears clean and nice. Something has been made of each portion. Tasteful. We will come again
