Got chicken in red curry at a Vietnamese stall. It was spicy enough and large portions. Fair price. Cozy street food on several levels. There was plenty of space on a Wednesday evening in the middle of the summer holidays.

We really enjoyed it. Especially the concept. Different culinary styles under one roof, without competition – simply together. The drinks bar was perhaps a bit more expensive than at home, but reasonable. We had Greek food, which was delicious. Excellent value for money.

A great place for lunch or dinner with friends. They have several international cuisines to choose from. A cool bar with very good beer! I visit this place every time I'm in Esbjerg.

Great atmosphere, imaginatively and professionally designed. Absolutely worth seeing. A huge selection of drinks. Food from all over the world; if you can't find something here, nothing will.

08/07/2026: Very Cosy and tasty breakfast. I had greek youghurt and croissant
08/07/2026: The only downside was when the coffee machine blew air out, and it did that often. Not nice when you wear hearing aids. But that's how it is at all cafes. But at Guldægget we had the opportunity to go out into the courtyard or the greenhouse.

24/06/2026: Good experience. Took the Manø bus back and forth and we had a really good stargazing in the cafe. Definitely recommended.
24/06/2026: We were on the island in 2021, but since the last trip was so nice, we took the trip to Mandø again and again I got shooting stars, super delicious. We were on a guided tour with everything, and we ate here at the restaurant Vadehavet on Mandø.
