Peter Liep's Hus Lyngby-Taarbæk

It's a cozy restaurant and a great place to chill after a nice walk in the park. The food was very traditional and tasty. Their spirits are nice too, and the staff was very friendly.

Pleasant atmosphere, but the quality of the food was not quite as experienced previously, unfortunately. overall 'ok' :)

Hey, if you're looking for a great spot for a family get-together or even something more official, you should totally check out Peter Lieps Hus! It's got this really nice outdoor vibe that just makes everyone feel good, you know? Plus, get this – it's super close to Bakken, which is like, the oldest amusement park in the world! How cool is that? So you could even make a fun day out of it. You know what else is awesome about Peter Lieps Hus? It's near Jægersborg Dyrehave, that beautiful Deer Park! So you've got this fantastic natural setting right there. Imagine a lovely walk amongst the deer before or after your get-together. It just adds another layer of charm to the whole experience. Being so close to both the Deer Park and Bakken makes Peter Lieps Hus a really special spot, don't you think?

For me, one of the best things is entering a place where everything exudes history, quality and orderliness.

We had booked a table at Peter Lieps Hus in connection with Dining Week 2025, and I had invited my best friend to Dyrehaven. We had a great experience, that's for sure. It started with the walk from the parking lot at Klampenborg station, over the bridge, through Røde Gate and through the forest to Peter Liep's House. It was dark and it was cold - and you could hear the animals in the forest if you stood still. We arrived at the lighted house just before reaching the hill. The inn was warm and cosy. The food was fantastic, no doubt about it - and more info will come later! We had ordered a 5-course tasting menu, and also ordered a "snacks" and wine menu.

Was visiting for a meal. Good experience, super good staff, despite being busy, seemed well equipped for the task. Exciting and delicious menu, to be commended for your courage, with game tartare, would probably have liked it chopped or scraped, the small cubes it was cut into were a bit too violent for my taste, it absolutely did not ruin the experience, on the contrary, we could discuss this with the passersby. Thank you for a pleasant evening in your company.

Great food and great service. It's a really nice place to eat

It’s a nice place in the country side. We tried the four course smørrebrød menu plus a dessert. Loved most of it except deer meat patte. Btw the strawberry tart with sorbet is out of the world.

Super good omelette with oak schnapps. Nice service 👍
