Friday night we ate at the restaurant and had their 6 course game menu, with accompanying wine menu, and it was a really good gastronomic experience with tasty dishes. In addition, we had Axel as a waiter, who made the evening even better, with good humor, enthusiasm and presence. He quickly caught our humor and interest in food and wine, and therefore contributed to a pleasant evening where food, wine and good company were the focus.

Fantastic autumn menu with things from the forest. Powerful in the taste of all dishes and really good service.

Very good service, good menu for the season and what you need before and after a stroll in Dyrehaven. Good things made easy, top up on coffee and water ad libitum makes you want to buy more. Atmosphere is great if you need silence, trees and a cocktail before Monday starts.

The positives first. Tasty and exciting combined open sandwiches. Definitely worth a visit again. But only for the food. The service lacked rigor and courtesy. We had a stroller with us. This was not allowed to stand in the outdoor area where we ate. Despite the fact that it could be placed so that it was NOT in the way, and because it was difficult to understand that another party had to have both a stroller and a pushchair which was also not in the way. The justification was sought and not to be followed - that it would stand in the way and motivate others to bring theirs. Instead, it should stand on the other side of a busy road where supervision of it was difficult. This affected the atmosphere. The same is experienced in few places when it comes to outdoor dining. In other words, even though the food was good, it did not motivate us to visit again.

Our first visit under the new owners, and they’ve truly done a splendid job. The menu offers klassisk smørrebrød with a twist on some dishes – creative without losing the essence of tradition – and it exceeded our expectations. We went for the Lunch Plate at 495,- per person, which we can highly recommend for both variety and quality. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the overall atmosphere felt both welcoming and refined. Naturally, sitting outside in the sun made the whole experience even better.

The food is of varying quality. Long waiting time. However, it was all offset by fine and personal service by Mattias, who had a good feeling for his guests.
