We spontaneously stopped in for lunch today. The service was incredibly friendly, and the chili con carne deserves more than 5 stars: the presentation and taste were simply excellent…definitely check it out if you're in Ribe!!!

We visited Postgaarden where we had coffee and a cake. The coffee and cake were good but it was expensive.

Delicious food and great service

Cozy and an atmosphere full of history. A friendly host and good treatment.

We spent one night in one of the rooms with a private bathroom. The room itself was very sparsely and datedly furnished, and also very noisy. What bothered us most, however, were the cobwebs and spiders on the ceilings (both in the room and the bathroom). We would have liked a bit more cleanliness there. The breakfast, however, was very good, and the short walk to the old town was also very convenient.

We stayed in the rooms above the cafe and everything was beyond expectations. Everything from the service to the food and the rooms were fantastic! This is not the last time we will come by. Their fish platter is recommended. There is plenty of food at a very fair price.

It was not clear when we booked our "standard double room" that "standard" apparently means without a private toilet/bathroom. Toilet was shared between 3 rooms, which I wouldn't call ordinary/standard these days. Small rooms with crooked floors - as you would expect in this type of building, so that was fair enough. Bed was narrow but nice. Service friendly, breakfast nice.
