Posthuset Esbjerg

The ambiance is impressive and the decor is harmonious. We opted for brunch. Everything was really delicious. Vegetarians have to be a little creative with their choices.

This time I was able to visit the Posthuset. A very nice place on the central area. At the entrance a nice welcoming from the staff. They walked me to the table. The menu unfortunately only in Danish language but I could manage to read it. For starter the nice smoked salmon and the white wine a chardonnay was a good choice. The salmon was a little dry but together with the sauce and greens it was tasty. For the main steak and fries, the steak was nice medium but a little butter at the end would have been better for nicer taste, now it was a bit dry. The Italian red wine was a good choice for companion the steak. Ofcourse a dessert to make it complete. A chocolate mouse with nuts, unfortunately the berries as mentioned of the menu card were not served, anyway it was nice and tasty. A nice experience and to be recommend 👌

Their brunch was delicious, and the mango/ orange smoothie was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Ribs was terrible. Service also not great. Atmosphere- quite alright. Never again!

We ate here and were completely satisfied. The food was delicious, and the portions were just the right size. We especially appreciated the friendly service. The server was very nice and, despite our being in Denmark, spoke to us in German – which was a real plus for us. They even thought of the little ones: there were crayons and a coloring page for the children, so they weren't bored either. We sat in the sheltered outdoor area, which was very pleasant in the lovely weather. Overall, we felt very comfortable here and would definitely come back.

Nice outdoor terrace with a view over the square and we had a delicious meal. Friendly service. We took a quick look inside and it looked nice. It is actually an old post office.

Delicious dinner, despite the rain it was cozy and the food was really good
