Restaurant Flammen Vejle

I have eaten at another Flammen restaurant a few years ago and it was quite sad all the meat was quite boring. This time I was quite skeptical but we were going out to eat on company expense and must say this time it was good and nothing to complain about. So I will probably choose it another time.

The food was reasonably good by Danish standards. There was plenty of choice. It is all-you-can-eat, but around 7:00 PM, not all the meat and other items are replenished. So you have to go on time, even though the restaurant is open until 10:00 PM. The service is extremely friendly and professional.

Nice place with a large selection of good food but a bit expensive.

We went to this Danish restaurant for dinner and opted for the buffet. It was very plentiful and delicious. The price was 35 euros. Perfectly reasonable.

A buffet restaurant with meat and side dishes. The ambitions are not super high, but the quality corresponds well to the price.

The Grill Buffet is fantastic, and the service is equally good. Highly recommended.

There were several things about the visit that unfortunately reduced the experience for us. Firstly, we had booked a table well in advance, and in the reservation I had specifically stated that we had needs in terms of walking difficulties. Despite this, we were placed at the very back of the restaurant, far from both the entrance and the buffet. When this information is requested in the booking process, one also expects it to be taken into account. A table closer to the entrance and the buffet would have been much more appropriate. In addition, we experienced significant problems with the serving of drinks. We ordered several times during dinner, but the repeat orders never came. We pointed this out along the way and again in connection with ordering dessert, but we did not receive the drinks there either. It was only when we had finished the dessert and were ready to go to the exit to pay that the drinks arrived. We found this completely unacceptable. It was also my first visit to Flammen in Vejle. I have visited many other buffet restaurants, including carvery restaurants, and I must honestly say that I was not particularly impressed with the buffet selection itself. The meat was absolutely fine and tasted fine, but I found the overall selection to be relatively narrow and the buffet in general to be somewhat lacking compared to expectations.
