If you are looking for a restaurant outside the tourist area with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere this is the right place, not frequented by tourists with typical Danish cuisine ... Danish prices :)

A quaint and very pleasant location in a quiet, uncrowded square. Good, traditional food, and a young, friendly service. Excellent for dinner or a nice beer at sunset. Highly recommended.

Fair enough, got a Wienerschnitzel. The potatoes were really not very good and the schnitzel was nothing to shout about either. It was fair enough but I have had much better in many other places.

Located on a cozy Danish square. The Danish meatballs were prepared with care and very tasty. The coffee was served with a French press and cold milk. Friendly service.

The food is fantastic, and the staff are friendly. It's in the center of Odense. A great spot to try classic Danish dishes. You can sit at tables inside the restaurant or in the square. We preferred to sit in the square. Since it's a very old place, you also get to experience its history.

After some consideration, I ordered a three-course menu: a starter with ham, a main course with plaice with some bacon in a strange dressing, peas, pea pods and small, boiled potatoes. For dessert, a lovely Mazarin pie with fresh strawberries. I drank lovely draft beer and cold water with the food. Price 479 DKK. However, the service was quick and friendly.

18/06/2026: Having recently moved to Denmark, I’ve been exploring local restaurants, and Pilen Pizzaria has quickly become one of my favorites. The pizza I had yesterday was outstanding, and today’s chicken roll was equally delicious. The ingredients taste fresh, the portions are satisfying, and the food is prepared with care. Beyond the food, the service is exceptional. The team is welcoming, attentive, and creates a genuinely pleasant dining experience. It’s rare to find a place that consistently delivers both quality food and great hospitality. Highly recommended to anyone looking for excellent food and friendly service in Odense. I’ll certainly be coming back.
11/05/2026: Have ordered here a few times, and the food is just delicious! Service is also just top notch! The little girl always gets a lollipop from the sweet employee! And they are always smiling!

04/07/2026: Great food in a simple setting, with no formality, at a Michelin restaurant, which I love. The food is amazing and full of flavours. The price is in a good range for what you get. We ordered a 7-course menu with wine pairings, plus a snack and petit fours. The only downside is the Restaurant didn't have much ventilation, so in the summer months in Denmark this year, with temperatures of 35 degrees, it was really hot, which made it uncomfortable to sit inside with no ventilation. I would come again in winter, as I believe it won't be hot and the food is great, so I'm looking forward to it!!
