What a lovely atmosphere! It's absolutely charming and very well soundproofed. There's also a beautiful terrace. A very warm welcome, and they speak English. Remember to book. It was full, but we were lucky as a party of two. It's best to walk, as parking nearby isn't easy. We opted for the two-course set menu: one course was a starter and main, the other a main and dessert. The stuffed chicken was excellent, flavorful, but very generous. The starter was refined, with delicious warm bread. We weren't as keen on the dessert, which we found rather bland. The HPI beer from Odense was very good, as was the cider. A very good place to eat.

Authentic Danish restaurant with good selection of ”smörrebröd” and traditional courses like ”Stjerneskjud”. Be aware though, smörrebröd is only for lunch… evening menu starting at 17:00 does does not include these.

Incredibly wonderful place! Huge portions, everything is very tasty. Old building, with its own separate history. Large selection of dishes. I liked everything very much!

18/06/2026: Having recently moved to Denmark, I’ve been exploring local restaurants, and Pilen Pizzaria has quickly become one of my favorites. The pizza I had yesterday was outstanding, and today’s chicken roll was equally delicious. The ingredients taste fresh, the portions are satisfying, and the food is prepared with care. Beyond the food, the service is exceptional. The team is welcoming, attentive, and creates a genuinely pleasant dining experience. It’s rare to find a place that consistently delivers both quality food and great hospitality. Highly recommended to anyone looking for excellent food and friendly service in Odense. I’ll certainly be coming back.
11/05/2026: Have ordered here a few times, and the food is just delicious! Service is also just top notch! The little girl always gets a lollipop from the sweet employee! And they are always smiling!
