This resturant is definitely a visit worth, the food is of very nice quality and so delescious. The service personal is friendly, smiling and very attentive. Little and very comfortable resturant. We will definitely visit it again to try some of the other delescious dishes.

A culinary gem in the heart of Kolding Restaurant Johansens delivers an experience. The service was welcoming and professional, with a good sense of timing and our needs. You feel really welcome and well taken care of. We will definitely come again - and can highly recommend Johansens to visitors we are from Copenhagen, Amager ourselves

Tucked away down a small side street, Restaurant Johansens is a beautiful and cozy spot that’s well worth seeking out. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly polite and attentive. When the food arrived, each dish was nicely presented and explained in detail. I had their stjerneskud, which was delicious and generously portioned — I couldn’t have eaten another bite afterwards. My girlfriend ordered the tartare, which she found decent, though not particularly memorable. Another person in our group had the chicken salad, which they said was quite good, while the open-faced potato sandwich turned out to be a bit disappointing, with underwhelming potatoes and a rather bland overall impression. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation, but I’d recommend booking in advance if you plan to go — it seemed like the kind of place that could get quite busy at times. All in all, it was a very pleasant dining experience in lovely surroundings. While it may not reach the absolute top tier of gourmet dining, it’s certainly a place I’d recommend for a nice meal in Kolding.
