Located in Denmark's best market, this is a great place to try the famous Danish Smorrebrod. They're a type of toast with endless combinations to try. The place is on a corner of the market and has a few tables and a counter where you can sit and have a quiet meal.

It's a covered market with lots of places to eat. We chose the one with smorrerbrod, the typical Copenhagen dish. Long but flowing queue. There are many tables both inside and outside where you can eat.

First time trying the famous smorrebread. The other popular place was crowded so I decided to try this one. I had the tuna toast and my husband the shrimp one. One was served on a toast and the other on rye bread. Both were very good, fresh and tasty. I suggest having two or three per person because it’s quite small. We were just snacking but one isn’t enough for a meal in our opinion.

Stumbled upon this place when we were at the Torvehallerne food market. Most other shops were closing while this one stayed open. We got the shrimp, chicken, mushroom and tuna. We loved them all, especially the mushroom and the tuna ones. Beer and Yuzu kombucha were very good too. Service was very friendly and efficient. Prices were reasonable compared to other similar places.

Really delicious smørrebrød and beer. Our favorite was the shrimp on a brioche bun.

Smorrebrod was very good, although no. 8 a bit expensive, nr 5 highly recommended

Yum! I tried my first smørrebrød here and was very pleased. I got the Ingrid and the mushroom. Both were very flavorful and tasted fresh. Would recommend if you are at the market!

Great, worth visiting, prices rather high but worth eating, very tasty and high quality food.
