Really nice evening, great food and friendly service.

The place has unfortunately declined in quality in the last year, we were 5 people and got 5 courses with wine menu. The food was generally ok, wine menu was not good. Very boring chardonnay and a Barbara d'asti that was far too thin and sharp...for over 1000 per person it was simply not good enough, unfortunately. The place has previously been really good.

Sunday evening we found this gem for a bite to eat. We had pork chops, red wine sauce and celery root, it was a delicious dish. Very balanced sauce and tender meat. There could have been a little more mashed potatoes. Currants did acidic wonders. The red wine was great with the food. Nice premises with a subdued atmosphere and a very good waiter. Recommended!

My wife and I visited the restaurant and had ordered their 3 course menu including wine (Full package). We were certainly not disappointed and got, among other things, the best piece of duck breast we have ever tasted. We are impressed by how much quality and service we got for the money. Thank you for a good and gastronomic experience.

Great culinary experience. Meals made using local ingredients, tasty, fresh. Excellent service. Interiors small and just a little bit too rough for me. Other than that it is a highly recommended restaurant.

Okay food, a 3 course meal, which in terms of portions would have been suitable for a 5 course meal. The taste was not quite up to par, but an excellent experience

An unexpected find in Svendborg, where my family was passing by for one night. The two founders had worked at various well-known institutions in Denmark and it shows in their attention to detail & happy use of ingredients. We had turbot with cream sauce & small potatoes, homemade stracciatella with fruit, “Svendborg ham” with spring onion sauce & fruits & a half bottle of Sancerre. It’s not on the cheap end of the spectrum (be warned: the “retters” section of the menu is not meant as the main dish / they recommend you get two of it if you want to make a meal out of them) but the restaurant is a rare find in its unassuming simplicity. Would definitely recommend for a special night.
