Small but so cozy place with tasty smørrebrød and great atmosphere! The owners - a beautiful couple - are so welcoming and authentic - feels like you came to visit your friends or family ☺️ Definitely recommend 👍🏻

Good place to try the typical Copenhagen smorrebrod. We tried the salmon, herring and pork, all three were very good. The owner is very nice and attentive, and he also knows Spanish. I would repeat.

This is a popular location but they managed to find us a space in the small cafe for a late lunch. The staff were very welcoming. We had the potato and the curried herring which were lovely. The potato especially was one of the best things I’ve had in Copenhagen!

Helt suverænt smørrebrød, med de bedste råvarer. Og på virkelig lækkert brød med god tykkelse. Vi købte det som take away, da det er temmelig svært at få bord

Small place to eat fast and leave. Good smorrebrod. Only bad thing is that the bread is nearly frozen in the fridge

Unfassbar lecker! Eines der leckersten Sachen die ich je gegessen habe! Mega süßer Laden! Preis zwar nicht ganz günstig aber das ist es mir Wert!

31/12/2024: Everything is good in here. Have come every winter for Christmas lunch for the last 12 years and everything is always delicious, friendly staff and very friendly service. Make sure you have a good experience. Clear recommendation
23/12/2024: Always cozy with Christmas lunch at Cafe Gammeltorv. I can't think of anything that could be improved. Maybe having fried herring in Christmas menu 1, so I'm free to order it on the side. See you in 2025.
