We've bought something from the smokehouse more than once. After our first purchase, we were delighted. The sales staff were very friendly, and the display was always well-stocked and attractive. Even having lunch and eating there is a double pleasure with this view.

Well, I wouldn't call it a tourist trap, but it's to be expected that there are a lot of tourists on a holiday island. Both the hot-smoked salmon and the hot-smoked salmon trout were very good. Who seriously expects the potato salad served to be homemade and not from a bucket??? There seem to be still some naive people who believe that. It is and remains a smokehouse, not a restaurant. The focus is on smoked fish; everything else is industrially produced and doesn't necessarily have to be bad. By the way: The fries probably also come from the freezer and are certainly not fresh from the field and hand-cut. ... I'm only writing this to save the naive people of this world from disappointment. We enjoyed it, but taste is very individual and a matter of opinion... But just experience it for yourself and don't pay too much attention to what others say. ...
