Great authentic hotel. Everything higgledy-piggledy, but neat. Disadvantage: no private sanitary facilities and difficult stairs. Also no parking. For that you have to walk ten minutes.

We had our dinner here. A Monday evening, but it was still evident that we needed to book a table. Classical sandwich food, but not quite - the vegetables were still crunchy, nothing had been boiled to death. I ordered my beef red, and that was exactly how I received it. The stereotypical idea of the positives about food in Jutland were reinforced - plentiful portions, gravy that you can cut in slices - but the negative stereotypes were dispelled. Their red wines were delicious, the vegetables were fresh, hardly anything had been deep-fried. The prices were more than reasonable, if you're used to Copenhagen, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Even if you're not going to have your dinner here, stop by for a cup of coffee inside. The place is amazing.

In the charming town of Ribe, the Weis Stue restaurant is an excellent place to discover local and gourmet cuisine. Restaurant prices in Denmark are in fact higher compared to those generally charged in France, but here, the quality-price ratio is very good. You are guaranteed to have a pleasant time. The menu largely highlights local products, with an invitation to discover the country's specialties (and no, in Denmark, we don't only eat salmon and black bread!). Weis Stue stands out among the many addresses in Ribe (not all are equal) with its old-fashioned inn atmosphere, nestled in a superb building with authentic decoration. A real journey back in time, not to be missed if you visit Ribe.

Dans la charmante ville de Ribe, le restaurant Weis Stue est une excellente adresse pour découvrir une cuisine locale et gourmande. Les prix des restaurants au Danemark sont de fait plus élevés par rapport à ceux pratiqués généralement en France, mais ici, le rapport qualité-prix est très correct. Vous êtes assurés de passer un moment agréable. La carte met largement en avant les produits locaux, avec une invitation à découvrir les spécialités du pays (et non, au Danemark, on ne mange pas que du saumon et du pain noir !). Weis Stue se distingue parmi les nombreuses adresses de Ribe (toutes ne se valent pas) avec son ambiance d’auberge d’antan, nichée dans une superbe bâtisse à la décoration authentique. Un véritable voyage dans le temps, à ne pas manquer si vous visitez Ribe.

The Weiß Stue in Ribe is an absolute must for us on every holiday in Denmark! No stay would be complete without a stop at this wonderful restaurant. The family atmosphere and warm hospitality make it a perfect place for us and our children. We are always particularly impressed by the family-friendliness - everyone, from young to old, feels completely at home here. The food is simply outstanding, always cleverly prepared and served with great attention to detail. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
