You feel welcome from the moment you step through the door.
Fast and efficient service, a delicious menu and reasonable prices.
Great atmosphere and cozy decor that is true to the building but also true to the name, Jacob A. Riis.
07/03/2026: Nice restaurant and ok service, but disappointing food. Got fish n chips and it was clear that nothing besides the salad was homemade. Both the fish and the chips were clearly shaken out of a freezer bag from a catering company.
The food seemed like cheap cafeteria food and not like something served in a restaurant.
