24/08/2026: We had a really nice trip to the Steakeriet, a great place with delicious food, definitely recommended!
22/08/2026: We visited Steakeriet in Vejle and had a decent experience, but unfortunately not one that lived up to what we had hoped for.
The steak itself was good. The meat was nicely prepared, had good flavour and was clearly the strongest part of the meal. However, the overall presentation and accompaniments left something to be desired.
Our steak was served with almost no vegetables or greens. Apart from a small stripe of pea purée, there was essentially nothing green on the plate. For a steak restaurant, we expected a more complete and balanced plate, perhaps with some properly prepared seasonal vegetables or a fresh salad to complement the meat.
The food wasn’t bad at all, but the overall experience felt a little underwhelming for a restaurant where the steak is supposed to be the centrepiece. Good meat deserves equally thoughtful sides and presentation.
The service was fine, and the atmosphere was pleasant enough, but there simply wasn’t enough to make the visit stand out.
Three stars from us. The steak was good, but the lack of vegetables and the rather limited overall accompaniment meant that the meal didn’t quite reach the level we had expected.
A solid experience, but there is definitely room for improvement.

20/06/2026: It wasn't that bad. 😃 - except my 94 year old mother wasn't that crazy about the curry soup, but the salmon starter she got was perfect and the rest of us couldn't have had better food. 😃

28/08/2026: Really good place with a large selection and great service.
24/08/2026: Lovely place to get a all you can eat experience. The place is clean and the staff is friendly.
For the meat lovers that want to go all in on the meat - don't expect high quality cuts, most of the selection is pig and different types of brisket. I saw the wagyu and red meat and got excited but it is only briskets, no steaks or entricots, or high level meat cuts. It's still worth the money for what you pay and what you get, just the meat isn't top shelf... But like I said, worth the money!!

16/08/2026: We ordered pizzas for 15 people, the message was, ready in 10 minutes, it sounded pretty fast, and quite rightly so, we arrived after 10 minutes, and there were no pizzas ready, on the other hand there were quite a few people waiting for their pizzas to be ready, it made for a longer wait, one of the smart young people came and offered a bottle of cold "waiting water" a nice offer, when the pizzas finally came in the oven, it went quickly. We must admit that the pizzas were worth the wait, everyone was satisfied with their pizzas, they were delicious, there was plenty of filling, nice bottom, crispy to the touch.
We would like to try that again

11/05/2026: In Ribe, dogs are not allowed inside most restaurants. You are then required to sit outside. Not appealing at 13 degrees, so we moved on. At this lovely restaurant, however, dogs are welcome. The first thing they did was place a bowl of water. The food at this restaurant is good at a reasonable price. Prompt and friendly service.
07/05/2026: Great steak !
Really interesting decor. The walls are decorated with photos from Jacob Riis time in New York. The waiter was happy to take the time to tell us about who Jocob Riis was and to give us the back story on the photos.

29/08/2026: We have been there about 6 times over the last few years, and it is getting worse and worse. It is very expensive and the quality of their steaks does not live up to the prices. Today it was so bad that we agreed that now we will not bother with the place anymore. The meat is not properly trimmed for tendons etc., and it is clearly a cheaper piece of meat than you were offered previously. It was 40 degrees and not a single window was open before a guest had enough and opened one. Both waiters who were present could hardly speak any Danish, and seemed super stressed despite the place being able to accommodate a maximum of 20-25 people, which should be easily manageable for 2 people. The noise level was extremely high from one waiter and from some of the guests. And their soda is, I don't know how to describe it other than very flat copies of well-known classics without fizzy drinks but again at 57 kr per glass. Unfortunately, it can no longer be recommended.
09/07/2026: Small but incredibly cozy restaurant.
The steaks were fantastic. Prices are reasonable, and as a bonus, they offered an exquisite selection of rums.

08/07/2026: Sunday 05-07-2026. 30th Wedding Anniversary, which was celebrated with style. beautiful 500g T-bone steak and tenderloin approx. 300 g. Starter dessert, and the salad. MUMMS it was fantastic. And a little cognac was also made. There was care for the details. All in all a delicious experience. The service was top notch, waiter Mie was very professional and sweet. KH Lis and Allan.
02/04/2026: Incredibly delicious place. Bearnaise sauce you get addicted to, it is really top class. Got a fantastic 300g tenderloin, cooked medium and absolutely perfect. The wine list for single glasses is a bit skimpy though.
Nice and delicious salad bar, with a good selection.
The service was fine, even though some waiters were a bit "green" they did a good job.
The premises are super cozy and it is very nice to be.
Thank you for a good evening, we will be back again soon and give you our best recommendations.

Had a late dinner when we strolled around Kolding Storcenter on a simple Friday before closing time. Stumbled upon good old Cafe Eiffel and while we stood looking at the menu and assessing our hunger, a friendly waiter (who apparently owns the place) came to us ahead of time and asked what we wanted.. 15 minutes later we had been through a really pleasant and friendly conversation, got just what we wanted and even got delicious tastings of various wines as well as professional explanations about the wine topic, since the person actually has many, many years of experience in wine.
We got an experience out of it and what we expected we must say.. food and drink went so well together.
We know the place but have become even more positive after today.

14/08/2026: We chose pizza because we had heard that the quality of food had deteriorated, but unfortunately pizza was not a safe choice. We ended up not wanting to finish one pizza.

20/07/2026: At the time of my visit, the Google score was only 3.9, which I consider far too low, especially when you consider how many restaurants have scores well over 4 without being any better.
The food was good, but as expected, not exceptional. The price-performance ratio is acceptable for Denmark.
The service was friendly and attentive.
The ambiance is pleasant, with a view of the yachts and the Little Belt.
15/07/2026: The food was ordered and known at the time of reservation. The restaurant would then have the chance to be "picky" about the meal. And not as it seemed to make it hours in advance and put it in the refrigerator. And in addition, serve a pre-ordered dessert known for its warm caramel lid and creamy content, while the rest of the meal is ice cold and grainy with crunchy cold sugar mass.
