15/10/2025: It's been a long time since I've been to Hviids, last time I was there it was Eddi who owned the place. Now his son has taken over and it's absolutely as good as last time. The flambéed steaks are always recommended 👌
25/09/2025: This experience is beyond anything I have ever experienced, beef tenderloin that was so tender you could feel it with your eyebrows 😁 great service and a fantastic chef who flambéed at the table 🥩🥰 all in all a fantastic food experience

02/11/2025: Nov 2025. Dinner Saturday night. Reason for 4 stars is that you stink of deep-fried food when you go home - it makes the place seem on par with a cheap place. The decor doesn't quite match the delicious meat you get. The specialty is steak on lava stone that you grill yourself. Nice way to eat. We got Sasha meat - it was really tender, delicious and tasty. Good fries, potatoes and sauce. They have other dishes. Nice serving staff. Nice big place but still OK acoustics. Fast service. I would have focused much more on meat and lava stone, top quality potatoes/fries, tomatoes for the stone, nicer decor and no stink of deep-fried food. The quality of the meat and the coziness of grilling yourself can well carry a different 'class' on all parameters.

24/11/2025: The restaurant is just small place with a decent/romantic atmosphere. Service was very kind, our food was served in about 20min since we placed our order. Steaks tasted great. Pepper sauce was tasty but for our standard it was too mild (not enough pepper). But on the other side - chimichurri was great! Free starter was a nice surprise :).

Good wines, great service!
Small and cozy place, on the slightly higher price end, but you leave with "it was worth it"

07/12/2025: We ordered 2 route 66 and fries which actually looked delicious, but the salad was simply so soft and soggy that it took away from the good experience. I'm usually very satisfied with the food from there.
UPDATE So ordered from there again here Friday 5 December and it hadn't gotten any better. Sadly.

14/10/2025: Really poor quality today. baked pizza with spaghetti and beef burnt on it and if you saw 25 grams of beef in that pizza then I did too. Spaghetti badly cooked the only thing that pulls up to 2 stars were the fries. It doesn't look like a pizzaria to make such poor quality. Okay I'm disappointed.
24/09/2025: The half chicken and the Mexican burger were very tasty. A little more burger sauce would have been nice.
The fries were good.
The price/performance ratio was right.
The young woman who served us was incredibly friendly and attentive. I wish I had service like that all the time.
I would eat there again. The pizza at the next table looked delicious.

29/05/2025: Super good experience, where we were looked after from start to finish. At dessert I discovered that the dessert chef had a watch similar to mine in black, so we swapped it with my blue one. Nice touch that gave a good atmosphere ☺️👌

10/04/2026: We always come here when we are in Odense. Even though the place is very big it is really cozy and has plenty of space.
13/03/2026: We were on a weekend girlfriends hygge trip in Odense and came across UBN.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, we waited briefly at the bar with a glass of wine. We had a couple of good steaks. Everything was super good. Would love to come here again ❤️

Their wines were surprisingly good.
Excellent concept with one price and then ad libitum. The price is probably just a bit too high compared to the time you get and the quality of the food.
11/02/2026: Damn a dirty place. I understand when we came yesterday there were no people at 7 pm. The food tasted very boring and completely tasteless. The best thing was what they didn't make themselves. The wine etc.. Was incredibly bad. Wow we won't be going there again. It's seriously not worth it. Add. Better go to Dalle Wahl where there is more change and fresh dishes. It was impossible to pair a dish with potato salad? haha omg so. It's a bit like food doesn't matter to a place like this.

We ordered their 5-course menu with wines and we can't find a single bad thing to say about it all!
The food was really good and exciting, the service was top notch and the restaurant itself and the view what is not to like?
We were glad that we live in a camper right next door - because we were so full and a little drunk that it was nice that we were close to our "home"!

Thank you so much for a fantastic experience with your 5 courses with wine. It was such a delicious end and last evening of our holiday.
The food was completely out of the ordinary and the wines were perfectly matched.
I would love to come back and recommend everyone to have the same experience.
