14/05/2025: Nice service, but the food was awful. Way too much cheese in my opinion, got nauseous afterwards, and only ate half. + way too expensive 98kr for cheese and some chips.

26/04/2025: So disappointed with the takeaway steak 😕 The meat was fine but barely 12 fries and a salad which was pure cabbage and barely 2 mouthfuls. Okay béarnaise and small piece of bread. The food filled half a kebab packaging and we had to supplement with our own food to get full 🥺 170 DKK per man is pure theft for such a round 🤥 not very good advertising for Struer's specialty, which we had otherwise just heard about in the program 🤔 Sold in 100 days. 11/01/2025: Et fantastisk sted med mange variationer i atmosfæren. Maden levede mere, end op til forventningen, ift burger & pomfritter. Blandt andet hjemmelavet løgringe & pomfritter. Var meget imponeret & kvaliteten er bestemt højere end prisen.

27/12/2024: Mir hat alles gefallen und meiner Freundin auch. Ich empfehle Steak und Knedla :) hat sehr gut geschmeckt . Wir mussten 10 Minuten warten, aber es hat sich gelohnt

29/05/2025: After waiting 30 minutes for a beer that never came i just gave up, only one person tending the bar at the pub and the pub was almost fully crowded, not coming back again

13/03/2025: Øl udvalget er ikke imponerende, men dog er der en acceptabel minimumsstandard. Lokalet har bar-sjæl midt i konceptet. Personligt håber jeg at disse irske og engelske oplever et euxit (forlader det europæiske fastland)

25/04/2025: Maden smagte dejligt, søde unge mennesker der serverede, men de er simpelthen ikke oplært godt nok. Især hygiejnen haltede, satte fingrene inden i glassene mm. Tog snavsede tallerkener ud og kom direkte ud fra køkkenet med mad, der burde været vasket hænder.

23/03/2025: An older cod with a strange accessory. Some of which was of a hardness that could break teeth. The dessert with one with salted caramel was very salty. Either is sloppy or poor workmanship

14/05/2025: Unfortunately a really bad experience. A weekday morning with not many customers. Waited a long time for the waitress to come and take the order. Waited a long time again for drinks, which she only started making long after ordering. Waited a long time again for the food, which was tasteless. There were two types of knives and neither of them managed to cut the bread without having to saw it loose. Payment cannot be made with cash unless you have the exact amount. There can be many reasons why you don't have a credit card with you. Not a place I would recommend or come back to.

01/05/2025: First of all, Café Zorden is a very cozy place with a patina and a very good location Food and drink also reasonably good without being ostentatious BUT as far as service is concerned, there is room for "product development" which, to put it nicely, was "stubborn" and unfriendly and in such a way that it is tangential that you as a customer may feel unwelcome. Good enough, it was probably a busy day, but even then it should be possible to offer just a little kindness and maybe a smile on top of that? However, this description only applies to one simple employee who we were unlucky enough to be "served by", but not to the many young employees/waiters who served at the tables - so sometimes the young can teach the slightly older ones something 😄

19/05/2025: I was at the café for the first time on 3.5.25, and I think it was generally a good experience. Friendly staff and good food, which was invitingly presented and tasted good. The price was also fair. If you have hearing challenges and are sensitive to sound, like me, this is not a place to go. Despite the fact that we were given a corner to sit in, and I could sit with my back against a wall, it was not optimal.

17/05/2025: Really a good experience! I had invited my mother out for brunch for Mother's Day, and had asked if they would leave a little note for her when we arrived. There was the nicest note, and combined with delicious food and a great atmosphere from the staff, it was a pure 5-star experience!👏🏻

18/01/2025: We were a party of 20 for brunch, where 2 had unfortunately fallen ill on the day, and you had contacted mcale at opening hours and canceled for these 2. Food and atmosphere were okay, but we are asked to pay full price for the 2 who did not show up and are met with very poor service from the staff in question who insisted on their right to charge for the 2 who did had canceled. After a tedious and in our eyes unnecessary dialogue, we ended up having to pay for one of the 2 guests who had not turned up. I don't think it's fair to charge for 2 guests who have canceled their visit to the restaurant from early in the morning. There is no question of non-attendance, and on the call where it was announced that there were two who could not participate anyway, nothing was mentioned about an extra fee. It ruined the experience for us at mcale.
