08/08/2025: Impossible to eat sandwich, because of dried bread. We ordered 3 different sandwiches, waited over 30 min and each of us was disappointed with the food. They should serve table with electric knife instead of their cutlery))

01/08/2025: We visited Café Vito on July 9, 2025 – and it was unfortunately a big disappointment. My burger was very dry, tough and tasted burnt, which made it almost inedible. We also ordered nachos, but the cheese was not properly melted – especially on the bottom – and the chicken was cold. It honestly seemed like the dish was just thrown together quickly and not cooked properly. We also had a shooting star, where the fish fillet was so oversalted that we couldn’t eat it. No one from the staff came at any time to ask if everything was okay – which could have made a difference if we had had the opportunity to point it out right away. The whole thing left us with a really bad experience – and it was extra sad because it should have been a nice and special day. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Café Vito based on this experience. All in all, super bad food and bad service. 0 stars!

04/08/2025: Absolutely the worst burger I’ve ever paid for. The patty was clearly frozen, dry as the Sahara desert with no sauce,just ketchup on the side and completely flavorless. No seasoning, just a disappointment between two cheap sesame seed buns. For 95 DKK, I expected something at least edible, especially given the name of the burger, which promised a big, juicy and tasty burger. Instead, I got something that just felt like a waste of money. The fries were decent, but that’s the only thing keeping this from being a zero star review. I’ve had better burgers at gas stations, food trucks, and basically every other place that serves burgers. It genuinely felt like legal robbery. To top it off, the bartender/server was unwelcoming. All in all, a complete waste of money and a terrible dining experience. I won’t be coming back and I’d strongly advise others to avoid it too.

04/08/2025: Good selection of many types of beer. I had a delicious stout today. The place has a beautiful charm inside with the old architecture. However, we chose to sit outside as the weather was nice. I can recommend the place to drink beer.

20/07/2025: Dårlig betjening, OK øl og ingen mad.. Restauranten skrev at der ikke var betjening ved bordet, hvorfor bestilling skulle ske i baren. De henviser til et menukort via deres QR koder. Her står intet om at køkkenet lukker på et tidspunkt. Kl. er 16:03. Og køkkenet er øjensynligt lukket kl. 16. Efter at være blevet ignoreret ved baren i flere minutter mens gæster bag os fik servering, kunne vi dog få serveret 2 øl. Men ingen mad.. De var ok. Men helt ærligt, så jeg har brygget bedre øl selv.

05/08/2025: We went there for an afternoon pastry and coffee. The coffee and drinks were good! The gateau marcel was delicious. The brownie was cold and the compote was a little sour. The ambience was great! The young lady who was responsible for the sitting of the customers was very polite with a nice smile. However, the stuff was very slow. They seemed inexperienced and they lacked the “eye of the tiger”.

03/08/2025: It was 2pm. The restaurant was empty, and about a quarter of the tables outside were occupied. We came with two small children and were told that we could choose a seat ourselves, but we were NOT allowed to move the tables. So we sat at two tables for two - a bit awkward when you are a small family. After 10 minutes with the menu we were ready to order. But 35 minutes later we still had not managed to catch the attention of the three working waiters so that we could order food and drinks - we were completely ignored. It felt downright rude when several guests who came after us were served in the quite empty restaurant. It makes no sense! Would never recommend the place to anyone - expect a minimum of service as the price level suggests that it is a well-run place.
