02/06/2025: El sándwich de mi pareja rico pero el segundo para mi nunca llegó. Atención pésima, sin gente en cocina. Estaban desbordados. Cuando suspendí el sandwich porque no venía ni se inmutaron.

02/09/2025: Honestly the best burger and the best beer I've had in Aalborg so far. Ordering was quick, the food and drinks arrived fast to our table. The only point we did not quite enjoyed is that we ended up seating close to a loud group of people in an area with bad acoustics, but it was partly our fault since we did not have a reservation.

21/09/2025: Went here for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The food was good, the ambience was nice, and they even have board games to play. We tried the fish and chips and the Caesar salad- both were good.

06/11/2025: The food was super delicious and the service was also good, but we had to go up and get them ourselves to order dessert and coffee.
But the worst thing was that in the middle of us sitting and eating, the cafe was invaded by sweating runners who obviously wanted to come in and have something at the cafe AFTER their run. And they were seated by themselves BUT there was no room for everyone so a table was placed right next to the two tables where other customers were sitting. BUGS. So we could sit and smell those who needed a shower while we ate our food. It would have been nice to have known that when we booked because then we would have probably chosen somewhere else.

Super delicious and flavorful. Highly recommended!
A little more plant protein wouldn't have made a difference. That's why 4 out of 5 for the food.
Will definitely come back. 😀
Super good service and friendly and informative staff... there was definitely nothing missing.

29/08/2025: I take two stars off for the ugly gesture of charging DKK18 (more than 2€) per glass of water. A horrible detail for people who are already paying for not cheap food and service.
It's also an anti-ecological gesture, by not encouraging people to ask for a glass of water instead of a bottle (plastic, transport etc).
The food is quite good and a good service, sometimes a bit slow.

02/11/2025: A solid Irish bar. Good service but pathetically small portions of some main meals. The Irish stew is served in a cereal bowl with two thin pieces of toast. As a main meal. Prepare to go to the MacDonalds or Burger King on the way out 🙄

13/09/2025: There is always a really good atmosphere here and it is well filled with guests.
It is no problem to start a good party.
The DJ captures the atmosphere and gives it maximum gas.
Reasonable prices and a good selection of various drinks.

Restauranten skrev at der ikke var betjening ved bordet, hvorfor bestilling skulle ske i baren. De henviser til et menukort via deres QR koder.
Her står intet om at køkkenet lukker på et tidspunkt.
Kl. er 16:03. Og køkkenet er øjensynligt lukket kl. 16. Efter at være blevet ignoreret ved baren i flere minutter mens gæster bag os fik servering, kunne vi dog få serveret 2 øl. Men ingen mad..
De var ok. Men helt ærligt, så jeg har brygget bedre øl selv.

17/10/2025: We were 7 people, 6 adults and a child, who had reserved a table 14 days before our dinner, with arrival at 6:00 PM.
The child does not drink soda, and could choose between rhubarb juice, elderflower or iced tea. He chose elderflower, but the waiter came back and said that they had run out of them, so he had to go with another choice, which was not what he wanted. For snacks, 3 of us chose 3 oysters each. The waiter came back and said that they only had 3 oysters left in total, so we could have one each. After a thorough review of the menu, two of us chose fried turbot for the main course. Here the waiter also came back and said that they had run out of turbot. So we had to have the menu again, and choose something that was not our first choice either. At three of the seats there was no spoon ready at the set table. So we had to ask for them when the snacks arrived.
The food we got was ok, but the waiter should have known in advance what the kitchen couldn't deliver, so that the customer wouldn't have to be disappointed by not being able to get what they wanted.
There were many guests in the restaurant, and the three waiters were busy. We had to ask for cutlery for dessert when the plates were placed on the table. The tables weren't cleared when guests left their seats after eating. So around us were tables with used glasses, plates, leftover food, etc.
The waiter was nice, friendly and smiling the whole evening. But the many mistakes only give a mediocre rating. You don't feel at all that the restaurant can live up to the Michelin Guide plaque that sits on the wall.
15/10/2025: We held a 70th birthday as a brunch event. It was a really nice experience, cozy atmosphere, competent and nice staff and delicious food. All in all, a very nice experience. We would like to recommend Bryghuset Vendis.
