22/11/2024: On Tuesday, my sister-in-law and her husband invited me to lunch at Guldkronen in Middelfart. As soon as you entered, you felt welcome. My sister-in-law had reserved a table, and under her name, it said "Fix and finished"... if you know my sister-in-law, it's actually spot on... at another table, it said "Inspektoren", and when a single, very kind man took the place, I could only think "of course ". We had barely sat down before a smiling (almost singing) Fynbo came and asked for our orders. He knew everything about the food, and also the good schnapps that my husband and brother-in-law asked for with the herring. Our drinks were quickly served and soon after, the piece of smørrebrød we had each ordered... did I mention there is only smørrebrød on the menu?... and which smørrebrød. All with homemade jam and dressings.... I COULDN'T put my arms down if I tried because it was simple, tasty - and every mouthful was a picky one for us customers. Our sweet fynbo said goodbye to us when his shift was over, but in return we got the place an equally cordial owner. She said: Our strength is that we emphasize quality, but we don't snob up, we snob down. Amen to that, says an old priest's daughter, and gives all the stars possible - and thank you and see you again

09/10/2024: This place was amazing, cozy vibes, good prices, and very good beers. I tried the craziest, best beer I have ever had (I think it was AMUNDEN). We all loved it so much, 2 nights in Odense, both of them there :). 5/5.

22/11/2024: Har brugt Café Biografen i en menneskealder og har altid fået lækker mad og super betjening. Der er så kommet nyt menukort og jeg bestilte den eneste burger på kortet. Bøffen var stegt så tør at den skreg på fugt. Pomfritterne var blege, men til gengæld kolde🙄 Min kæreste fik en gedesalat der mest af alt mindede om hakkelse til kvæg. Som jeg måtte sige til personalet var oplevelsen en glimrende reklame for McD. Heldigvis er der alternativer i Odense til næste frokost.

22/10/2024: My group went here for an early brunch. We ordered at the bar and then food came fairly quickly after. I definitely enjoyed the Bogart brunch (especially the potato rosti), and appreciated the generous portion of bread that came with it. The only thing I didn't love was the smoked salmon mousse; the actual salmon pieces were good but fish-flavored mousse is just an odd texture for me, personally. But others in my group liked it, so it just depends on your preference. I also had the latte, which came with a tasty tiny biscotti. The decor was also very interesting to look at since it's connected to an Indie movie theater.

07/12/2024: Atmospheric dinnerware on Esbjerg's square with a view of the ice rink. Varied selection of simple but delicious dishes. Nice service.

23/11/2024: Christmas party with my Danish colleagues; The food was good except for the crusty roast, which was unfortunately dry and tough. The service put a lot of effort into creating a relaxed atmosphere in a very loud atmosphere. Very cramped conditions.

05/11/2024: Tasty, cozy, great service, normal prices. We came to this café on a tour of Denmark because of the good reviews. We can only agree with that. We had pasta with salmon and fish & chips plus a cappuccino. Everything was cooked, well seasoned, fresh, hot and nicely presented. Croutons and goat cheese with a side salad? No restaurant I've been to has come up with the idea. I thought it was great 😊 On top of that, friendly and fast service. Class!

01/12/2024: We visited on a quiet Saturday evening. There was clearly more activity in the take away than in the restaurant. We both got their Bacon Burger which was smashed. I got fries and my wife got chili cheese fries. The burgers were amazing. One of the best I've had in a long time. The fries were fine. Not so much there. My wife didn't think her chili cheese fries were the way she likes them, but her expectation was American chili cheese fries with fake cheese, so that explains it.

23/11/2024: Virkelig dårlig mad. Saucen virker gammel med klumper, burgerbolle er tør, kedelig salat og dressinger. Var så også så uheldig at sidde ved siden af et selvskab med en meget højlydt dame som talere så højt at vi ikke kunne føre en samtale. Måtte gå!

22/11/2024: Maden var virkelig god og vores tjener var virkelig sød og betænksom 😊 Det bedste var næsten, at det ikke var særlig dyrt af spise der
