02/06/2025: The food was uninteresting and not proportional to the price. The whole thing seemed uninspired and out of step with what one should expect in 2025. Cold red wine, improperly cooked meat, shrimp from the refrigerated counter and cake that tasted suspiciously like one you'd get from most provincial bakeries and again, cold. The place has performed at a higher level in the past.

24/05/2025: As alway I go for the vegan, and as heart healthy as possible.
The salads were very good. Very tasty and played with sour tastes, which worked well. I walked away still hungry, as there were not much of calories in it. Unfortunately is was very oily, which is very unhealthy, no matter the origin.
I’ll come here again, but ask to ease up on the oil.
Service was good, very warm and friendly. Fairly inexpensive.
Atmosphere was ok. Not much noise from the kitchen. Nice area.

28/05/2025: I wanted to spend a night there, but unfortunately—or should I say fortunately?—I found myself in front of locked doors, even though I'd been told I could arrive later. Five hours before closing time, neither my messages nor five phone calls were answered.
The refund for my room, which I never stayed in, took five weeks because even Booking.com didn't receive a response from the customer service team. Deadlines were also missed.
I don't know why I wasn't allowed to use the booked room, but after all the reviews I've read here, I'm very happy to finally close this chapter.
19/05/2025: Nice newly renovated hotel with a nice location by the beach. The restaurant is very high class with good service.

11/12/2023: We were supposed to hold an event at the café in November. The buffet was excellent, but much of the food was buy-in food that was simply heated. A bit disappointing. The service from the youth workers was quite nice, but the service, from what I assume is the owner, was service-abandoned. No interest in providing any kind of service. We got the feeling that we were a nuisance by coming. In any case, we don't want to arrange anything down there another time.. Our guests also commented that she was rude - both to them, but also to her employees. The youth workers also seemed to be slightly "afraid" of her. At one point, she was sitting at a table next to the bar with some friends, directing the youth workers what to do. It's not a very good signal to send to your guests.
09/12/2023: My boyfriend and I had called down to the cafe to ask if we could use our smartbox at them. Our smartbox rang for brunch for 2 people. We are told by an employee on the phone that it applies to both people and that we can just come down and have brunch and then "pay" with our smartbox. When we have eaten and have to go over and "pay", they suddenly want us to pay DKK 189 for the food. My girlfriend and I say that we have called and been told that smartbox one applies to both of us. So we will not pay. After some time where we have discussed with the employees, we are allowed to leave without paying any more.
It's a shame that it has to spoil our experience. We will never buy a smartbox again or go to that cafe.

09/02/2025: Vår is an absolutely fantastic culinary experience
We had 8 courses including a wine menu
The food was absolutely top class, presented deliciously and unpretentiously so that the taste experience is allowed to be the star of the show.
The wines were also super delicious and had a perfect interaction with the dishes.
And last but not least, the new premises are warm, cozy and subdued, and a lovely setting for a wonderful, extraordinary dining experience.
Worth all the money. Mr. Burmølle shows Our cupboard must stand.
