18/05/2026: We have been coming to Sletten Kro for many years, and it has gradually become a tradition for us to start the summer there - along with all the other good excuses to go back 😊
Another really lovely evening, where everything just worked. We were 4 adults and chose the complete menu with a few small changes along the way, which the kitchen handled without any problems. This meant that everything fell into place perfectly for all of us.
The wine menu adapted to the food worked really well, and the whole experience was lifted by a fine collaboration with our waiter, who went to great lengths to ensure that we once again had a fantastic experience.
Food, wine, service and atmosphere came together in a higher unity - and Sletten Kro proves again why we keep coming back year after year.
03/05/2026: The food tasted good, the place was cozy and the waiters were nice but I got food poisoning. A bit surprising for a Michelin restaurant where you have to pay so much for small dishes.

22/06/2026: One really nice and welcoming employee behind the counter and one angry and grumpy employee behind the sandwich bar. We asked if we could get 2 sandwiches from their menu and one of them asked the other nicely if "it was possible" .. but we then got the answer from the angry one "no, you can choose from the ones on display" (in a non-transparent brown bag so you couldn't see them or the quality) with only 3 varieties to choose from out of the 6 varieties that they otherwise offered on the menu .. the prices were also far too expensive for the quality of the sandwiches .. last time we buy anything from them.

12/01/2026: Maybe it's good. But the service is far too slow. I stood behind those who ordered. I never made eye contact with either of the 2 waiters, neither before nor after it was my turn. I doubted if they had seen me. Since I couldn't wait any longer because of the train, I left without having achieved anything.
11/01/2026: The coffee shop is located on the territory of the station, it is very convenient to get coffee and some delicious pastries or a sandwich before going to the museum

27/06/2026: Cozy and charming place, which we have visited several times in the evening, but this time we came for lunch. As always, really nice and well-prepared food and friendly and attentive service.

30/06/2026: Members of any sailing club are welcome here. The offer is wide enough to satisfy, and the execution is a smidge above good. Great tartare, good chips and fab open sandwiches team up with loval tap beers to complete a happy picture, that matches the view.
17/03/2026: Really nice fish shop. Good selection and fresh products, but today they sold out of their super delicious fish fritters.

24/05/2026: Lovely café in the museum. Ideal on a sunny day to enjoy its terrace with a sea view. I had the set lunch menu for two. It's hearty, with three typical dishes and dessert. It was delicious, and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
24/05/2026: The Cafe is very nice. The food is nice with Scandinavian style. I have eaten 2 times there and everything was good. The stuff is quick and polite and the atmosphere is especially good when the weather is nice and you can seat outside.

02/11/2025: Speaks fluent Danish is welcomed nicely and for the things that you order and you the nicest result of a good pizza or pasta steaks ask how you want the dish, they remember you even if it's been a month since you've been to Ciao it's a restaurant you can get good wines drinks and it's very important that it's always clean, you can get your food in the living room or on the 1st floor, while you wait for your food, the boss and those who cook ask how you're doing, you should never the meetings laconte Castello Castello has no control over their food it's piled up in the freezer, and they say 10 minutes then you can go out because it's not clean,. Try ciao you will have a wonderful experience they ask does it taste good, are you missing anything TOP $ TO RESTAURANT CIAO.MVH MICHAEL MEYER AND GIRLFRIEND AND MISS.
