27/02/2025: Fish fillet in (semi) darkness - but fantastic waiters My daughter-in-law invited us to lunch with Dining in the dark at the Faroeske Hus on Vesterbrogade on Saturday at 2 pm. And we were really looking forward to something we hadn't tried before. It was a good experience to step into a new world, namely not being able to use the sight, and big gift to the 3 waiters who managed to pull a very mediocre taste experience up to 2 stars. If I start with the food, we were served half a piece of fish fillet with remoulade and lemon and a very small portion of beetroot tartare on the same plate. THAT was a huge disappointment. My daughter-in-law had paid a considerable amount for all 5 of us and to know that she is almost 2,000 kroner poorer for a below-average fish fillet hurts me to the core. In the distraction of the experience, I forgot what the dessert was - something with chocolate - but again a micro-small portion on a small plate. But the food wasn't really the worst: The worst part was that we had been told to arrive exactly at 2 p.m. PRECISE! and then only being led up to the dining room 45 minutes later is under all criticism. The organizers had not checked the room in daylight the day before and therefore did not discover that there were windows in the room that had to be covered first. Hence the big delay. So we sat in a room that got brighter and brighter as our eyes got used to the darkness and we could see plates, food and cutlery in front of us. My daughter-in-law therefore asked us to close our eyes instead, which helped the bad experience of mediocre planning on the part of the organizers. There are ZERO stars for the organizers and food and 2 for a really good experience with the blind and partially sighted waiters who did everything they could to make the experience tolerable.

25/11/2024: Fantastic experience. It is truly an exciting experience. Tried it 2 times. Great experience both times. Would love to come again. Super cozy and friendly service. Delicious food.

05/09/2024: Had the pleasure of tasting Lucaffé at an event, and just have to say it is GREAT coffee! Can be highly recommended

29/05/2024: As a dedicated coffee lover, I now have a new favorite coffee. A super delicious Italian one, which has a completely unique delicious aroma. Definitely among the best I have ever tasted. It has become my new favorite coffee👍🏻

30/03/2024: NOT to be confused with its adjoining repair shop, this is a standalone cozy Italian coffee house, well worth a visit when in Frederiksberg. Run by the loveliest Thai lady (who's Italian husband handles the machine repairs next door), they offer great tasting affordable espresso, when needing a break from all the overpriced new school shops around. The owners take pride in their craft, evidenced the quality of the food (Italian paninis with fresh ingredients), service, cleanliness and decor. It's a shame the place is too small to stay for long (no bathroom as I understand due to this reason), but highly recommend checking out when in this sleepier part of town... Ask for food specials and it might be your lucky day

16/05/2025: Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, as our order wasn't processed or was forgotten. We were the only guests who didn't have anything to eat yet. While we waited, we watched as half the staff took a smoke break and the other half were on their smartphones. We tried several times to make eye contact, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. After 30 minutes, we had to leave because we didn't have any more time. At least they refunded our money. The apology was pretty weak.
