17/12/2024: It's a perfect little place, very cosy, peaceful with warm people. I used to get a croissant and a coffee when I walk my dog in the park and I was so looking forward to try this place ! But I had to leave a few minutes later following their suggestions after I asked for vegan options. They literally have nothing to offer on the menu ! Everything contains dairy, eggs, fish and meat. We're in 2024!!
I was maybe expecting a scrambled tofu with an avocado toast, sure.. one can dream ! But what does it cost to get an oatmeal? Or just simply bread and jam? Even the kanelsnure from Taffelbay across the road are dairy and milk free ! I am very disappointed...
16/11/2024: They dont have that many dairy free breakfast options. The pictures here with boiled eggs and ham is for old menu and the dont hve it anymore. The kind young ladies were very helpful in explaining the dishes and they were very friendly. The ambiance is amazing though a hit small. You need a reservation. I would recommend it for a cozy lunch.

They are also not afraid of racist and sexist jokes towards the customers in the store. Pretty wretched place

08/03/2025: The worst and most expensive coffee I have ever tasted. NB. If you order coffee, by default you get the very largest size, not an ordinary, small size. The big coffee is equivalent to the thinnest, like water with a faint taste of coffee. So thank you for two buckets of hot water for DKK 100.

21/03/2025: Cozy place to enjoy your coffee next to the small rope in the middle of Gentofte town close to the lake.
Here you can get a delicious breakfast and wonderful coffee or a sandwich as well as a healthy smoothie. All delicious and well prepared. You can sit inside or outside, but you can also take it down to Gentofte lake, which is 2 minutes' walk from JOE & THE JUICE.
Thanks for the great service as always.
05/01/2025: I ordered an egg salad sandwich and a nut drink. The sandwich was burnt because the staff talked about their privacy with each other instead of focusing on the serving and the egg salad didn't seem like they bothered to make it as what I got more was 3 half eggs in mayonnaise in egg salad.

05/03/2025: The food was ok, nothing amazing...just acceptable. However, poor service and that also led to a bad atmosphere. So never again. I would not recommend.

15/07/2024: I had planned to take the family here, and it said they were open, I even booked a table, but when we came by it was completely closed and there was a woman sitting outside at one of the tables sleeping. Really strange.

23/06/2024: The 3 pizzas I bought didn't have enough, so the base was completely soft. Very annoying when I had brought them so that we could sit by the water and eat them.
So it was a very bad experience, I think it will be the last time I come there.
10/05/2024: An outstanding place. Especially if you have children, as they have the opportunity to play. However, not as good as some of the other restaurants.

25/02/2025: Maybe the food in the cafe is great, but the service needs to be better: we ordered two coffees and a chocolate croissant - there were no issues with coffee. When I returned to remind them about the croissant, they counted it separately for me, but then I reminded them that I had already paid, then they gave me a croissant, but as it turned out, of course, without chocolate. And since they didn't give me a check, there was nothing to talk about. Of course, it was unpleasant, but there was absolutely no desire to quarrel over it in the morning.
The service has another big minus - almost all the tables were dirty - it's unpleasant.
22/02/2025: Absolutely ridiculous bad service - rude and ignorant staff.

10/02/2025: Mega bad service, my food has been over for 1 hour late calling without any excuse whatsoever
02/02/2025: 3rd time I try the place. 1st & 2nd time so delicious. But the Banh Mi with chicken this time was like a half-baked sandwich from the supermarket, with too much dressing and the so-called fresh vegetables disappeared in the dressing. The wonton's were worse, they were so overcooked they just crumbled and the contents were a dry mass of something indefinable unfortunately inedible.

15/03/2025: Service staff were a little rude and unwelcoming. Prepare to be jostled in a cramped space and underwhelmed by a painfully standard menu. Skip it unless you're solely there for the atmosphere and have zero expectations for anything else.
18/02/2025: The waitress and service was in no way welcoming, ended up leaving again, scaring customers away with arrogant and scolding attitude, very unfortunate. A pity, because the restaurant itself is nice and nicely decorated. And had driven especially after the place:-(

07/12/2024: The coffee is mediocre ''mud cake'' is good. Service is lousy (try and be too fast, and smart but they don't have control over orders) Waited 15min for a filter coffee and a latte in front of them and no one asked if I was missing something
07/10/2024: Never order hot chocolate over charged and you get it cold, Make one better at home.
