01/04/2025: We have tried to come 3 times now that they say they are open. 2 of the times there has been a note saying they have closed that day, now they are just closed without any explanation. It's really not okay to let people come from so far and not say they are closed on days when they have otherwise advertised as being open. Therefore only 1 star, great practice, but we're giving up on that bagel now

04/11/2024: They dont pay their international employees.

12/03/2025: They have a perfect handle on packages, have been there several times and they do a fantastic job, the only bad thing is that it stinks of smoke in there...

05/02/2025: Picked up a package today. The store reeks of cigarette smoke. And they also sell food. Where is the food inspection?

27/08/2025: The café is a little “hidden gem” – the perfect place to sit and work, bathed in natural light from the large windows. The food is homemade from scratch and tastes fantastic. The sourdough buns are top notch – fluffy, crispy and served with Rikke’s own jam, made from berries she has picked herself. It simply doesn’t get more authentic. And as the icing on the cake, most of the menu is organic. Love it!

27/08/2025: Delicious buns with cheese and iced coffee, and good service.

18/05/2025: At Emmerys the price is fresh and top notch. Unfortunately their wieners are dry on Sunday mornings. The service is.... Ask for a long wiener to be wrapped so it can be transported and it will be thrown into a simple bag. You can then struggle to make it fit into a paper bag with a handle and completely different size and shape.

15/05/2025: A really cool cafe. Stylish and comfortable. Good facilities for charging one's phone and for browsing the internet. The coffee was fine and the rhubarb pastry was absolutely delicious. A nice area outside that seemed very popular. We went. there every morning of our stay.

14/03/2025: We got take away and it's always five-star and this time we had some special requests for some of the dishes, no problems. Super nice staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

18/02/2025: The staff seemed to not care much: The tables were not cleaned after guests left, so we were sitting amongst tables full of leftovers during our whole stay, despite only two tables having guests (us included). We ordered two dishes. One was good and tasty, but the soup we ordered was lacking rice (the menu said it included rice). The soup was also way too sweet, yet edible. I don't think we will come back.

24/08/2025: Arrived at Elverdybet at 12:49 and was greeted by unfriendly staff who sternly announced that they could not serve anyone for 30 minutes because they were “short of staff”. I counted six employees present myself – so that explanation simply does not hold up. The level of service was miserable, and the experience was downright unpleasant. I cannot recommend this place in any way.

16/08/2025: It all started with me falling for a pork roast sandwich with fries and gravy, however I didn't want fries so they said no fries which also turns out to be without gravy as it's just a regular pork roast sandwich without gravy and fries. So when it came I had to go in and buy gravy for 10 kr. which was heated in the microwave and was really bad. But the worst part was I ordered a cola so I couldn't get ice because their ice machine couldn't keep up with the heat as she said it only works when it's cold, but of course you also need ice cubes when it's cold. But as I said, you could have it repaired, but she didn't think it would be worth it since the season was almost over (in 45 days), but I got my cola from the fridge without ice, which shows that it wasn't cold when it was just filled up so you could only get a warm one, then a man comes and says I can get ice and cubes since you paid for a cold one and then they had ice cubes in a bag, God help me, they just couldn't use it for cola, but they can now since it was warm 🙈 maybe you should just look for another job if you don't care about customer service, but 2 stars for the nice service when the young man came. However, the pork roast sandwich came with a cold/lukewarm bun and dry thick roast and a tiny little crunch. A really poor meal, there was no one else in the whole courtyard except me, maybe there was a reason for that.

24/05/2025: Piss thin durum for 79kr pure cheating

03/04/2025: Got a home-made pita bread mix with almost no meat in it, even though you pay for both chicken and kebab. A little salad and a measly piece of tomato and 2 small pieces of onion... the bread was nowhere near being home made but just bought an expensive brand of pita bread. The bread split all the way while eating and that just shows how poor quality it is

06/05/2025: Never met anyone so stingy. Me and my friend had BOTH bought something in the store. Not even an hour later we are accused of not having bought anything. Although you can clearly see two bags from the layer cake house on the table. Her reasoning was that none of the employees had seen us buy anything. Which is not particularly shocking since the employees who served us were no longer on duty. There was clearly an allusion that we should either buy something or leave the store. This is disappointing customer service.

06/05/2025: My friend and I had gone down to Lagkagehuset to make a delivery, and we both bought something from the shop. However, an hour later, an angry and negative employee came, accusing us of being in the cafe without having bought anything. We tell her the situation (and there were 2 Lagkagehuset bags on the table) but we just get a sour and irritable explanation back that none of the employees had seen BOTH of us buy anything. Although you could clearly see 2 bags from Lagkagehuset on the table. There was half an hour until closing time, and I think it's fair if you want to get the guests out of the store before closing time. However, this could have been done in so many other better ways. We had a great time, but left with a depressed mood.
