31/03/2024: With the desire to get fresh fish, and drove 75km to be able to enjoy it in a recognized port like Gilleleje port. The best fish in the harbor is advertised. So I don't understand that when you order 2 star shoots, that the plaice fillets could just as well have been bought in the net. Especially when you pay DKK 155 per shooting star.

30/09/2023: Wow. First visit today, but certainly not the last. Bought fresh ground beef from their Jersey cattle used for burger patties tonight. Fantastic juicy and tasty high-class meat. The bacon sausage is also a hit. Now we are just looking forward to tasting the delicious sausages and other quality products we were tempted to buy 🤩Absolute value for money!

30/03/2024: Very sophisticated cooking. Inventive use of ingredients, most from their own gardens, and a well chosen winelist. Particularly clever was the raw cod, with micro-herbs, preserved gooseberries, toasted seeds and buttermilk sauce.

13/10/2023: A half-baked experience. Star shot: no doubt about the quality of the fish, but unfortunately not much taste. Summer tapas arrangement: high quality, nice arrangement, but again not the great taste experience. Children's food, two dishes to choose from (fish meatball and fish fillet) 15 minutes after we have finished, they find out, that they don't have any more fishcakes. The fritters we ordered had too much and are served WITHOUT salt... oops.

26/09/2023: This is one of my favorite places to eat. My family and I have eaten there many times over the years and only experienced good service and a nice atmosphere and the food just to our taste. Not a big menu, but what there is is really good.

25/03/2024: I have been to Café Flora in Gilleleje quite a few times and think it is a very cozy place and before that the food was also plentiful at an ok price... but today was unfortunately NOT a good experience. Fortunately, we had booked a table, and it was also fully occupied AND there was an insanely high noise level. Someone left for that reason. We each got a salad. A salad with berries and goat's cheese and a Flora's salad. Both familiar salads to us, but hold up a difference from before☹️ the thinnest slice of goat cheese, a handful of berries and some sliced ​​apple as well as 2 caramelized walnuts plus 1000 leaves of lettuce. The second salad as much mixed salad, a little tomato and crumbled feta. But DKK 175 for each salad. It was completely ridiculous. I have previously recommended the café to everyone, but I don't dare anymore...

29/03/2024: Hygiene, Service and Taste. Byens Pizzeria masters these three things - especially the former. The most important thing for me when I have to have food from outside is whether it is clean where they cook my food, as I cannot bear illness. It must be said that it is under control. Check! The second most important thing is whether I am treated properly and not unfairly. When the clerk advises me to order a certain way to save money. It's called respect. Check! Finally, if the food tastes good. It is best that I let my fellow citizens of Gribskov judge this.

10/08/2023: Mediocre food. Big portions, but not the big culinary experiences. The cutlery was dirty and the napkins reused. Poor acoustics and tables that were too close together. Overall: We were full, but won't be back.
