15/10/2026: Not really good. The food was simply too cold, which is very disappointing, especially with the fries. That could easily be improved, and in Sweden the standard is almost always significantly higher.

27/08/2026: Practice! IKEA Restaurant used to be simple, but good food at good prices... It's not like that anymore 🙄 The prices have gone up a fair bit, the food was (for the second time in a year): Poor! Dry, tasteless chicken, unfinished fries, thin sauce and floury peas. No way worth 99,- kr in IKEA 🫩. Next time it'll be a sausage in the bistro and a pizza from the local pizza place on the way home 😬

13/07/2026: A great place to eat with the family. Classic Turkish food. Very spacious. There is also space outside. Beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended.

11/07/2026: Ordered my food in advance 40 minutes before I arrived at your restaurant on Taastrup Hovedegade, when I arrive I am told by a laughing female employee that they have not prepared my food as there has been an accident on Taastrup Hovedgade and that the entire staff has run out to look at the accident, including chefs with active orders. I am told that the kitchen is closed at that time an hour and 10 minutes before their closing time and that they "unfortunately" cannot prepare my food by the same female employee who still cannot stop laughing and giggling. Call the customer next time and ask them not to drive out when you have not planned to prepare the food. Completely crazy and especially laughable from a restaurant that is supposed to be "at the finer end".

23/04/2026: Most tasteless gyros meat I’ve ever seen in my life. Don’t be afraid to add some spice to your meat. Gyros is supposed to be full of flavour. My fries were refried, so they didn’t taste that good. Employees are nice though, but the food is a solid 3/10.

"I..." or rather, before that, I asked how he was doing in Turkish, and when I said I was Danish, he said I wasn't. I said yes, I'm from Asia, whereupon he said he was Danish! It was a bit of a mess, and I was about to start eating a vegan falafel wrap, excuse me. Meanwhile, there was a slightly overweight Caucasian man, and the waiter started talking to him, or something like that. After I described the Caucasian man as illegitimate and he left, we clarified in Turkish that I was the first to speak, and he clarified that he was from Kurdistan and apologized. Welcome to Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands, a democratic, parliamentary, constitutional monarchy. In this world we live in, a restaurant is like an oasis. Therefore, the meals were prepared with care and sincerity. The surroundings are completely dilapidated and neglected, so here is an oasis created by the Kurdish people serving hungry travelers. 04/06/2026: You can write something like this: ★☆☆☆☆ I was unfortunately disappointed with my visit to Byens Bager in Taastrup. The clerk handled my food with bare hands after first having served customers and touched various surfaces in the store. I found it unhygienic and not in accordance with the standard one should expect when handling food. I hope that the management will focus more on hygiene and proper food handling in the future. This is of course my personal experience from the visit.

06/09/2026: Crazy cozy place. Missing darts or billiards to get the 5 stars. But the people and staff are super welcoming and cozy - a brown tavern in the modernization of the modern world. Meant in all positive ways. 😀

09/08/2026: Noisy even though we were sitting outside. One sat for 35 minutes and vomited without anyone doing anything other than getting water which went up again. No one removed the vomit or took any other action to take care of the situation...

18/09/2026: Everything was super delicious. And the food came quickly and was freshly prepared. Definitely recommended.

14/07/2026: All in all ok and they are exciting burgers with good ideas and nicely built. However, the quality of the meat is lacking so not much flavor and the fries just don't taste good even though they look good and are crispy.

28/06/2026: A bit boring food, bought a burger with beef tenderloin which sounded delicious, but the meat was tasteless and the salad would have been better suited for a cold sandwich as it had no texture after the heat from the meat.

02/08/2026: Have visited the place 3 times, the first 2 the pastries were dry, this 3rd time there were ants crawling around in the pastries. Was promised a refund, but haven't heard anything further. Not really because I need the refund, because I really want to support the place, but all 3 good times I have unfortunately been disappointed.

21/08/2026: The staff were friendly. I had a Kebab pizza, which was very tasty! My friend had one with tuna, which was a bit less good, but otherwise a very good pizza place.

23/08/2026: Poor technical condition. Windows are falling out or won't open. Electric door locks don't always lock. Staff don't care. Buffet is OK.

21/08/2026: Room is ok, bathroom is ok. Mattress is destroyed, needs to be replaced. Tv doesn't work. Got bitten by bedbugs. Breakfast is good. Coffee is good. Service is so-so. Area has a lot of habibis. But many markets and easy connection to the airport.

18/10/2026: I wrote to the restaurant that they could very well cancel my order if the mushrooms and onions that I removed from the order gave so much flavor that it made the pasta taste like nothing. They then choose and approve the order and say that it doesn't change the taste at all. When I get my pasta, there is no salt or pepper or any kind of spice in it. And it really just tastes like pasta with thick cream.

11/10/2026: Definitely has the best pizzas in town. Fresh and quality ingredients. The only thing is you always get told that my order will be ready in 15 minutes and that is almost never the case. Then you often have to wait a long time. Hope they get better at giving realistic waiting times.

13/10/2026: We had to wait 40 minutes for our food and drinks.

12/09/2026: We arrived, were quickly assigned the table we had reserved and it wasn't long before we were able to order our food and drinks. Drinks came after a few minutes, the food took maybe 10-15 minutes. Quite reasonable preparation time. All burgers were super freshly made and hot, and so were all our sides. Drinks were cold, as they should be. You sit in diner seats like at other Sallie's, and the Race Lounge is cozy enough (there is a view of the go-cart track, since you are sitting on the first floor), but we have to admit that Sallie's in Albertslund by the motel is a little cozier and has a more authentic "American Diner" atmosphere. The staff was young and both presentable and very welcoming. Absolutely exemplary service from start to finish. The food was - as always at Sallie's - a pleasure. Simply burgers and fries, as they should be made. Can only recommend!
