17/09/2025: Fantastic dinner party with 12 people in a private setting. The food and wine went together perfectly.

16/08/2025: Lovely buffet and not least attentive and nice service. The three waiters were so busy and the chef helped with service, cleaned up, wiped the table, made Irish Coffee, etc. It was a pleasure to see how they helped each other. We will come again next year when we go to the revue❤️👍 And we also enjoyed a bachelor party.

02/06/2025: The food was ok, but the service was not ok. We are 6 people at the table and are served 5 glasses of wine. When serving, unfortunately the waiter drops 4 glasses of wine on me. Too bad for the waiter, of course it was an accident. 3 jackets and 1 shirt get wet. A new waiter will do absolutely nothing, as I think I can send the jacket cleaning to the restaurant. He will talk to your boss and get back, but nothing happens. He gets my number and wants to call, but nothing happens. Bad style. Left with 3 jackets that need to be cleaned. Super bad style of the restaurant. I will never come back. Bad service.

05/10/2025: This is probably the last time I buy anything from here. I have now experienced several times that the overpriced open sandwiches are old and hard. The quality in no way reflects the price.

19/05/2025: Semi-stale open sandwiches - the outer layer of remoulade on my fish was completely dark yellow - it had been sitting for many hours. When I buy a piece of open sandwiches for DKK 125,-, I expect it to be fresh.

02/10/2025: The quality of food offered dropped drastically. Not only is it unbalanced (carbs or vegetables in fat), but the price-to-quality ratio is very low.

12/06/2025: Why is there such a small quantity of meat in all the options to choose from? Why can I not pay extra for more meat or substitute some of the salad for more meat? It’s as if the employees are instructed to give you as little of it as possible. Why is my plate 90% salad and a few scraps of meat?

30/03/2026: The food was hot for some and lukewarm for others 😅 After waiting 55 minutes for the food, my patience was running out. But then the food finally came, I was hungry for a long time, so I forgot to take a picture of it. The staff were nice and polite, and fortunately were able to explain the situation and the long wait for food. We also got a discount on the price as a bandage on the wound. I choose to give them another chance, on my next visit to the hill. The toilet facilities were great 👍

08/09/2025: The best bar at DTU Lyngby if you want to play beer pong all night. Not so nice if you want to be able to have a conversation inside or if you want to dance.

17/07/2025: My son and I were gone and never again! We stood for several minutes where the employee just pretended we weren't there, when we were finally served my son got a burnt chicken sandwich, the bread was inedible. When I went up to the employee to show him the sandwich he just looked at me askance and said I could just throw it in the trash can behind me and that we could get a new one. We waited a long time for a new one even though there were almost no customers. I have never seen anything like the arrogant employee at Joe's in Lyngby Stor Center before.

02/09/2025: A very nice place. Cozy rooms and delicious servings (party dinners - for lunch, buffet) have been there 2 times in the last 2 years and it was great both times. The place will be run by the same family until December 2019, after which a new owner will come. Niels is not so quick to respond, but it is worth the trouble 22/6 2019. Held an evening party, where everything went together. Super delicious food, attentive and sweet service and full speed until closing time. Highly recommended! 2025: We have not tried the place after the new hosts took over the place in 2020! So this review is just nostalgia for the good old days ☺️
