02/04/2025: Today I had the worst experience in this place (Bakery that does not sell bread) today like many mornings I went to this place to buy bread, although today it was 24 normal loaves, but when I got there the lady made it clear to me that she could not sell this and even then she made it clear to me “HERE IN DENMARK YOU CANNOT BUY 24 LOAVES IF THEY ARE NOT ORDERED THE DAY BEFORE BECAUSE THEY LEAVE THEM WITHOUT BREAD FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS” I never understood her expression and I would love for the owners of this place if they have cameras to see the way this woman spoke to me making it clear that I can not buy bread, this is really silly because if this place were mine I would be grateful if someone bought my bread, then I agreed to ask “so you won’t sell me bread” and she tells me this time yes (with a very offensive tone) but you must order (I mean order the day before, this is not clear to me) I have gone a thousand times to buy breakfasts for my work, and my husband too where I take a lot of bread and this time she tells me that I can not buy the bread ... besides after she packs my bread in a aggressive and rude way, I was with my daughter who also wanted a croissant but when she saw how the lady treated me she got very sad (she is 8 years old and we have been there many times I even have the coffee card from this place) so much so that she did not eat either the croissant or the juice that we bought, the truth is we felt humiliated ... then the lady changed and tried to be nice but she had already attacked us ... maybe in that place they only sell bread for Danish people? I will not eat this place, I would rather lose my coffee card, and go to another place where they really want to sell bread and do not humiliate you in front of your children. My worst experience in Denmark, I don't recommend it, they shouldn't have such rude people in such a famous place.

15/03/2025: Baked goods consistently take 2-3 minutes more than what is good, but the last straw that makes me never come back is that I have now been waiting for them to open for 10 minutes and even though it is 10 past 7, there are 2 employees in the store and I have knocked on the door several times, they just look at me and act like nothing happened while one just stands there looking at his phone as long as I have been waiting. It's too small..

02/05/2025: We were 2 dr got the big buffet and I was so excited that I forgot to take pictures of the food. The buffet has a huge selection of tender meats, burgers, sausages, pizza, salads and soft ice cream and I could go on. Service and bar are for 6 stars. We have now been here 3 times, and it is now our regular place to eat at Bakken. As they say south of the border: for the price it doesn't get better. Thanks for the food.

20/04/2025: I just want to thank the grill chef of the day who was very cordial and friendly.

30/04/2025: Raw broccoli, tasteless ingredients.. you can get much better in the area.

06/02/2025: Peter Beier in Lyngby still suffers from poor customer service. Likewise today, when I asked if I could get my several liters of ice cream in 1 liter boxes. I was rudely told back that I could, but then it was at the more expensive price for the smaller boxes (i.e. without a quantity discount). I don't understand how the price of a small flamingo box can be the starting point for bad customer service...

01/09/2024: WARNING! I visited the restaurant yesterday, Saturday, August 31, 2024, and want to share my experience. We got there around 17:45, and after paying, we stood in line with our children. Even then we were surprised by how long the queue was. It took about 30 minutes to get food, as there was only one place to get it. When we finally got back to our table after waiting, we discovered that the lines for the food had gotten even longer - an hour's wait to get food from a buffet. Many other guests also expressed their frustration at the unreasonable wait time. The plates were small, which made it difficult to get enough space for food. Standing in line again was out of the question. Unfortunately, our experience led to us leaving the restaurant hungry and irritated. I strongly recommend that you consider improving your service. 17/09/2024: It's the worst thing I've experienced on the hill, the service consisted of a lady who tried to speak English, she couldn't understand we had ordered sheepishly and stated that we used Ældersagen. We wanted some dark beer, she didn't understand that and I could go on like that. The torilettes look like something that was a lie, it was so disgusting so we used Bakken's torilettes.

21/05/2025: Boring 🍔 not the same as it used to be both the steak and bun are not like before. No taste in the steak and boring bun. Will not eat there again. Always had an Oscar's when I was on the hill. But that's over now.

11/05/2025: It is under all criticism, similar to poorly cooked steak and a dry bun, you have to look for a long time, I am an omnivore, took 2 bites and threw the rest in the bin. Even in Bilka's Cafeteria it would have been rejected. Dog food and shameful to throw a reputation and an institution on the Bakken under the bus. The owner should find a passionate new owner instead. Shame on you
